Or for that matter, "versatile bottom"? To me, "versatile" means you are both a top and bottom which means you like giving and receiving. And you can give and receive in any activity from sucking to fucking to the more wilder activities.

 

So if you're a "versatile top", does that mean you prefer to top but will bottom some? Or does "versatile top" mean you top for several different activities (e.g., top for sucking and fucking)? Or does "versatile top" mean you top in several different positions (e.g. doggie-style and missionary when you're fucking)?

Prime Muscle thanks to your post I'm laughing at myself. I read it, began to answer knowing fully that one can be a versatile top, then about 75% into my reply I realized that I haven't a clue

OK...here goes...versatile top here. Seems the only people that really get confused on this is those of us who think in only black and white. Everything comes in degrees, and I guess its the same with sex.

I am of the opinion that unless you know what a really good fuck feels like then you cannot give someone a good fuck either. I base this on my own personal experience and preferences. I have learned that my best encounters have been when I started casting aside that "top/bottom" role and just go with the flow.

 

I have met guys who I thought were going to be one very hot top and then subsequently discover they could not fuck worth a damn. Other times its been that wild bottom who takes my ass for one hell of a ride.

 

When I see an escort with "versatile" as part of his description I expect that he fucks and/or gets fucked. When "top/bottom" is added to the description then I expect that he feels he may be better at one versus the other. More like truth in advertising if you know what I mean.

In my experience, versatile top means he tops 90% of the time; versatile bottom means he bottoms at least 95% of the time. for some reason, people used to say top, bottom or versatile. then for reasons unknown to me for a fact, they started qualifying the above with versatile top/bottom.

it is clear that a versatile top prefers to top (and similalry for versatile bottom doing the bottom).

what's funny though is that the names have changed, but the final result is the same.
