The way your original post was worded, "I called this guy named 'Charlie'...," implied that Charlie was a relative stranger to you. People don't usually refer to their boyfriends as "this guy named..." Even in a later post, you didn't acknowledge that he was your boyfriend, you only admitted that you had worked on clients together.

 

I don't think it's unforgivable to post a recommendation for your boyfriend, but it looks shady if you don't reveal the bias.

 

However, I think that the most revealing thing has been your responses. Your character is revealed by the defensive way that you've addressed this, lacking any tone of humility or apology. I think that a quick and early response saying "I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that Charlie is my boyfriend" would have closed the issue forever. It's a lot like the escort responses to negative reviews. The escort's response usually reveals more about the escort than the negative review, and usually they make it worse, not better.

 

Many of your posts here have been interesting and welcome. I hope you'll continue posting, even if everyone doesn't agree with you all the time.

corndog..you are exactly right. The post was misleading! and I am sure not by accident. Maybe the reason fewer guys are hiring is because there is so much deceptive practices by escorts. As I said before it is disgusting. If you think I enjoy getting ready for an evening and come out of pocket hundreds of dollars only to get ripped off you are wrong. Thank you Glutes for putting in your two cents here..When I posted my response early today I was really steaming, and actually had to take leave of this site for the afternoon just to clear my head. When I returned and saw your post, I just knew there would be a moment of clarity and sanity...Hope you have the last word on this thread and we can put all of this to rest. It is very difficult to argue with someone in this format. Sometimes I wish I could just sit down with Mikey and hash this all out. OH well..But what burns me up soooo much is the fact that in all the times I have hired all over the world, all over Asia and Europe and Canada, I have gotten cheated and burned FAR more by escorts here in my own country than anywhere else I have been. It really is very sad. Escorts I have met over seas even the occasional street kid, I have very fond memories of indeed. In the decades I have been doing this, I only got my wallet stolen once outside the U.S. and that was in Montreal. When I noticed it was gone, I had hired an escort for the evening. I told him that I was sorry that my wallet had been stolen and that I did not have money to pay him, until I could get some money wired from the U.S. He refused to leave and stayed with me through the weekend and actually refused payment when the funds arrived, He felt so bad about me going through the whole experience. Can you imagine someone here doing that?

Bigvalboy: I have never personally wronged you or any client or poster on here in any way. Please do not condemn the nice, good guys for the bad acts of anyone else you have met. I have NEVER recieved a bad review anywhere- ever. I have spent many years cultivating great customer service. Not saying there aren't many good clients here (12 of you are my clients!!!) but alot of members have never and will never hire and yet purport to be experts in the field. That is hilarious. IF THE FORUM IS TO SURVIVE AND THRIVE THEN WE NEED TO BE A HAPPY POSITIVE COMMUNITY. That is why I no longer will post negative things or attack people even if a guy says his cock is 10 but it might be 7 on a good day. Those kind of posts turn guys off. That is why we have so few new posters................we need to start actually REVIEWING again and HIRING as clients and as escorts we need to rededicate ourselves to great customer service and affordable rates in this economy......hope this ends this thread happily. no worries yall

Thank you Mikey for this apology, It was well, quite amazing. And in return I would like to apologize also for my outburst. When you accuse people of lying about hiring, while I know that probably happens, alot of people live very small lives, and forums like this allow them to live a life they wish they had anonymously. I unfortunately, immediatley assume you are talking about me, and I immediately go on the defensive. That is a real character flaw and I am aware of it. Many people here have responded in a much more calm and thoughtful way..believe me I have taken notice. Going forward, I will just step back and be more positive and constructive in my comments. Hope this returns things to normal and Mikey I wish you the very best always....and maybe, just maybe, one day I will be one of your clients also. Big smiles all around, peace to everyone here.
