Hey there, I'm just looking for some advice on a situation. There's been a client who has been trying to set something up with me but always contacting me when I'm already booked or unavailable, this seems to really perturb him and now he's decided I'm simply "a flake," and that he feels obligated to leave me a negative review unless I "make things right." Yet at this point I wouldn't feel comfortable having any sort of appointment/meeting with a client whose been such a dick to me, you know? I don't feel as if I've done anything wrong and am kind of dreading the impact on my business of his review. Any other working guys been in this situation? I feel kind of hurt someone feels the need to be so petty and attack my business and livelihood as such, but realize I should probably just shrug off the "bad press" and do my best to move forward.

Thanks guys

Ignore him and do not see him, would be my advice. It sounds like he is so cheap he is trying to bluff you into giving him a freebie to "set things right" or at least a reduced rate. If you see him he will probably think up more things to complain about. Since he never had an appointment, he cannot give a valid negative review without a big lie. Then you should have a chance to give your side of the story.

You are about to feel the earth move under your feet.

I agree with Merlin.

There, I said it.

You've apparently run into one of "those" clients. There are far too many clients who get off on the mind games. They don't really want the escort experience. They get their jollies messing with you.

Block his phone number (if you have that option). Block his email (if you have that option). Do not give in. Do not engage. The games will only get worse and you'll likely never see a penny.

well

That client should move on then. You must be one of those hot escorts who is hard to get. Just ignore him and if a negative review comes up then you will be able to delete or repute it.

Wow. That's harsh and the advice you've gotten here is good. Ignore him. He's got stalker-like behavior. Block the address and if negative reviews pop up, email said webmasters and explain what's happening. Sorry you're going through this.

Oh god...I thought the same thing, but I started to get nauseated...:D

Play nice, you guys. Outside the political forum, Merlin's posts have usually been reasonable and well writtened, if occasionally straightforward to the point of bluntness.
