It can feel a little odd. I had e-mailed a recently reviewed escort in Atlanta a couple days ago to set up an appointment today. We spoke on the phone yesterday and I thought we had good rapport. We were to meet this morning but I got this e-mail about an hour ahead instead, “Thank you for your interest in me, but we are not a match. Best of luck.” Wow, talk about a disappointment. I could not reschedule with a substitute. With all the topics lately about how far ahead to set up an appointment and flaky clients, I wonder how many clients have escorts that decide they would rather not keep an appointment. My question is do I do a review or just toss it off thinking maybe he met the love of his life last night?

 

 

It's unfortunate that the appointment was not had, but I would not do anything else. Hire someone else and just think that it might have been for the better for you. I have not had any escorts to cancel directly, but I have had one or two who failed to show up as scheduled. I was pissed at the time-- big time-- because I'd paid for the hotel in advance, but I got over both instances and did NOT want to expend any energy or time in writing a review!!

Sorry to hear about the experience but to be honest you could have had a lot worse happen to you. I have certainly been down that road, but this is about your experience. It is a disappointment, but I do think the gentleman is doing his job if he really felt you were not a match. He may have let an issue that at first seemed small but upon second thought maybe even discussed it with someone else and just felt the risk was high. At the end of the day you did not spend the money. Far worse to have met the gentleman and felt afterwards it was a waste of time and worse you relied on the escorts experience to guide him and he had ignored it. Gentlemen do not want to risk a poor outing either, bad for the reputation.

 

I think if this was a Craig's list type character he would have accepted the outing and your cash and you walk away with a feeling of never again. Even the best at his craft cant make a bad out wonderful, maybe less painful but better to have had this one go by than spend the money and feel rotten.

I tend to agree with the comments about a regular being given preference, as I was an out of towner. I just didn’t expect it from a well-reviewed top dollar escort from here. I don’t do big budget escorts very often so like a lot of you said, be glad the meet did not take place.

 

I liked the “fringe business” comment too. I kind of expect that from a “CL” contact, not a men4rentnow contact. Which prompts me to remark on Joey’s new thread, which could have been titled “When a client rejects you”. I’ve only done that once and told the escort he should have mentioned getting his lip pierced the day before.
