New Site Design Looks Good

I see that Daddy is doing some site redesign this weekend and from what I see so far I like it alot.

Escort names too small and difficult to read.

 

Looks OK... but I find it difficult to read the escorts names in the list of new reviews... the font, orange color, and the distracting blue lines in the background all seem to be off-putting as opposed to enhancing the readability of the names.

 

But then again some of us are a bit visually challenged. Heck! I was the guy who was having trouble accurately placing the nipple camps on my partner the other day as I don't wear my glasses when I play.

 

However, I do wear my glasses when reading Daddy's and I still find the orange with curved lined background distracting and confusing.

I see your point. I had the same reaction when I first saw it but it kind of grew on me. I am fine with the font and color but losing the blue lines in the background would be better IMHO. I have no experience in web site design so no idea how difficult that would be.

 

What I really like are the changes for navigation (the tabs for date, name and area) as well as the calander for looking at the history.

 

Any change is going to get lots of different opinions but I think overall it is an improvement and I applaud Daddy's effort.

I noticed that the forum now no longer opens in a new window. Not sure I like that since I go back and forth between reviews and forum when there is a reference to it in a thread. I agree the orange print against the swirled background is a bit tough on the eyes.

Since I am almost about to submit a new review I just checked out the new "Submit a Review Section" and it is greatly improved, looks easier to navigate, and at least that portion looks easier to read.

 

I guess it will take a bit of practice to learn to navigate the site... but we are a smart group of guys and it will soon become second nature.

 

I didn't want to end on a negative note so thanks to Daddy for his efforts. I am sure he will be tweaking things to make the site even better.

As a way to deal with that you can right click on the forum tab and then select open in new tab or open in new window. An extra button click but workable solution (although I also do like the way it was before and having it automatically open in a new window when you click on forum).

The old URLs which linked directly to each individual escort's review pages no longer work. The URL which shows when you are at a particular review page now will only take you back to the area page for that review. Hopefully new URLs for each individual review page will become available so that we can link to them in our signatures, ads and websites? Thankyou for your efforts, Daddy. I use Firefox and it still opens on two windows.
