Technically, the holiday that honors "all who served" is Veteran's Day. Memorial Day is designated to honor those who lost their life while serving.

 

But Veteran's Day, although a federal holiday, tends to get spotty observance so we lump the two together on Memorial Day.

Thank you our soldiers fighting for a better world. I pray for our soldiers and their loved one. I would like to show my gratitude to those who gave up their lives for us to live in peace. Let's cherish what we have today and use our time well and share what we have with people who lost their loved ones. God bless America~~~
