Dallas - Fort Worth

 

The Dallas - Fort Worth Metropolitan Area includes the two cities, with the airport located halfway between them. It's about the same distance as Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale. Escorts in both areas usually advertise for both cities. Dallas perhaps is the more prosperous and business oriented, so the bois advertise primarily for Dallas and may live there, but they will travel to Fort Worth.

 

While you are there. Fort Worth has three splendid art museums along one street, "Museum Row." Dallas has the Museum of Fine Arts and Nasher Sculpture Garden across the street. The Dallas MFA is one of the finest art museums in the U.S. with a large and very diverse and very good collection. They also have a superb dining room inside with a whole wall of Chihuly glass pieces. Their major pieces by Sam Francis and Adolph Gottlieb, for example, are the best in the country. In general, the late 20th century collection is one of the finest anyplace. Dallas also has the splendid symphony hall and the brand new opera house. There is much very good culture in Dallas.

 

Thinking it over, it might be better to stay in Dallas for fun and entertainment and drive over to Fort Worth for business as needed. It is an easy commute.

I have to differ about the easy commute. Distance-wise yes it's probably only about 45 miles between the 2. But if you are trying to get from one to the other at normal business times, then the traffic can be a nightmare.

just a brief visit

 

I'm just in Ft. Worth briefly to attend the world premiere of an opera on May 29 - "Before Night Falls." It is a major gay cultural event - gay composer and story based on the memoirs of Reinaldo Arenas, the gay Cuban poet. So I'm staying in a Ft. Worth hotel and might have some time Friday night or Saturday afternoon. Or maybe will check out some of the Ft. Worth museums on Saturday before going to the opera!

 

As to what I would be looking for, I like a strong young athletic top to play with for an hour....

 

Do the Dallas boys put a surcharge on their rates when they drive over to Ft. Worth? It would sound reasonable, given the hassles.

If you only get around to one museum, make it the Modern.

I never really understood Ft Worth. From the map, it seems like a normal sized city...But its like the evil twin of DFW. Most twin cities seem to work together, but its like night and day there. I guess I was so used to 'Fort' Lauderdale, that I found it unusual for Fort Worth to not have embaraced a similar culture.

 

The gay culture there is very underground...as in, dead. Luckily the times I did venture to Fort Worth the clients were always great. I used to live in between the 2, so going to downtown Fort Worth wasn't a challenge.

 

Only recommendation I could give (not that you were asking me specifically) is to just drive the extra way and stay in Dallas or atleast near the DFW airport which is a halfway mark. I have to head out there for the weekend, but Im there on assignment for something else.

I lived in the D/FW area for many years before moving to Chicago in early 2009. I still travel down to Big D every month for work and to visit family...I always look forward to hiring my favorite guys when I return. There are a lot of quality working guys in Dallas. Since the "metroplex" is very spread out, I found that many of the best escorts were very willing to drive considerable distances for a fair and nominal surcharge to help them with mileage/fuel/etc. I almost always hire guys who advertise as "Bottoms," but have occasionally enjoyed some fun with a couple of Tops there, too.
