Today's WSJ has article on what to say to your gay teenager. Some interviewees insist that homosexuality can be 'cured', just like Right Reverend Wreckers. When are these 're-orientation' people going to get a clue!

I know several people that have tried this therapy and a few that ended up committing suicide.

 

Groups like this are very dangerous. I feel sorry for the kids "forced" into this therapy.

Iv known people that have done that too. I remember a few years ago a group came to Atlanta similar to that. The local news did a story on them. They showed allot of young guys there looking for change. I remember this one kid around 19 He said he didn't want to be gay any more because he couldn't find a guy that would treat him well or be faithful. I wondered if he had such relationship would he really want change. Iv known 2 people under 18 forced into therapy by parents thinking a therapist will say their wrong and change them, in both cases the therapist told the parents their child was gay, they know who and what they are and no therapy would change that. Most people that attempt these types of programs fail. these people don't change a person from gay to str8 they teach repressing the feelings. they are still there all the same.

Olbermann went off on the Right Reverend Wreckers tonite and the fraudism of gay-to-straight conversion. If any one can post that piece, please do.
