A lady at DMV took the worst picture ever of me and refused to retake it. I just opened my mail from DMV and looked at my face pic on my driver license. It is just horrible! I give up meeting my prince because I don't think any prince will want me. I down grade my expectation. I will seek a hot squire from now on. lol.. :o

Not to worry. A prince is smart enough to know that all DMV workers are trained in how to take the worst possible photos for the license. You should still keep your sights on that prince.

One of my driver's licenses expired during the same year Pulp Fiction was released. I remembered to renew my license the day after it expired, which was the day after my birthday. My friends took me out for drinks the day of and I swear I was still drunk when I went to the DMV. In the picture, I looked like Vinny Vega. A few months later I was stopped for speeding. The cop looked at my picture, started laughing and told me that I wasn't going that much over the speed limit, so he would let me go because my picture was punishment enough.

In decades of having my pic taken for driver's licenses, I've never once been happy with the result. I think they give those people special training to avoid taking good pics.

I had a friend who tapped a picture he liked over the ID and then you can flip it for the real one.....lol

 

You look fine.... plus remember if they ask for your ID for anything according to the office of the president .... it's now considered racial profiling!

Thank you all for your encouragements. Had to use it today since I left my pass at home. The look on the receptionist was priceless. I'm going to use my old ID since nobody checks the expiration date anyway.

Greatness, You are gorgeous and a genuine sweetheart, too. If it's any comfort to you, I had to take a new license photo when I moved to Illinois last year. Of course, it's a law somewhere (in the U.S. Constitution, I believe) that all ID photos must be unflattering as hell...And mine is terrible! I look pale as a ghost and decided I desperately needed a beach vacation after one look at my new license! Let's just chalk it up to bad lighting and poorly trained "photographers" at the DMV...at least this rationale makes me feel better.

I'm sure your ID is much sexier than mine, Mr. "Greatness"!

When I got my liscence picture taken, I was given the option of having it taken again. Then when I went to renew it I was given the option of keeping the old picture or having a current one taken. I was aghast of this in the state of NJ, the state of govenment thieves and assholes.

I had a DMV photo taken while in the military (short haircut) and right after an exhaustive deployment.

 

I swear I looked like a rapist and it was more of a mug shot than a DMV photo.

 

I lived with that photo for about 3 months and "accidentally" lost my license. Got a new one with a new picture. Unfortunately, they now store digital photos on their servers. So, if I go in for a replacement now, I receive the same photo.

interestingly, in the Bankrupt Land of Fruits and Nuts, California, my DMV photog said, "Smile! We want you to look happy." and "That was gorgeous, honey!" when I renewed my Drivers License. That was 4 years ago and I still remember Mabel's name.
