Buenos Aires, where to stay

first trip to Buenos Aires, where is a nice place to stay. I am just starting to read up on this city, so any help would be great. planing to go at the end of may

You might want to check out http://www.GayTravelArgentina.com for suggestions. You probably want to stay in Recoleta or near Av. Santa Fe to be closer to gay venues. The Howard Johnson's on Calle Florida is also an option -- it's just a short cab ride away, or even within walking distance, of various sights and venues. Cabs are reasonable in Buenos Aires, so plan to use them frequently.
