Hello Guys.

Nowadays we are witnessing that the sites for escorts and gay personals are already in social networks like Facebook, Twitter etc.

What do you think about it. Should They be there, or should remain a hidden area for other people. Interesting to me is what you think.

For example RentBoy.com, Manhunt.net, RentGuy4Fun.com, Boys2Rent.com and more I quess.

Good question.

I think ads for escort services showing up on social networks is a BAD thing, because it probably increases the odds that homophobic law enforcement types will target the escorts and their customers for sting operations. This enhances the danger of hiring escorts.

I'm less concerned with leo seeing something about this on one of the social networks but am more concerned with a minor (male or female) seeing this type of content. To my knowledge there isn't a filter on the sites to filter out what might be adult content. Since I try to keep a certain amount of my non working life separate I would not subscribe to such things and have those that don't need to know find out.

If I'm not mistaken, someone can still create an escort advert that doesn't scream 'I'm a hooker' right?

 

Uploading some tasteful, yet erotic photos, along with the right descriptive wording can make things crystal clear without catering to the lowest common denominator.

On facebook - you have to be careful. If you there are too many complaints that your profile is provocative, they will remove your account. I know an artist who almost got pull for painting that of him lying on a bed nude with a little ass crack showing. He almost lost his account.

 

On twitter - Aiden Shaw's account was almost pulled for a semi-nude.

 

I amazed on facebook a few times I have come one someone I hired once or twice that I recognize as a friend of a friend. Why? The same face shot.
