Is anyone watching the Bachelor? I never watched it before this season, but about halfway through this year's season I was flipping around and saw the guy that is the bachelor this year. His name is Jake Pavelka (I think he's Jesse Pavelka's cousin or something). He is a beautiful man and after I discovered the show I found myself watching it regularly. It's mortifying to admit that, but hey, it is what it is. The finale is tonight and I am hoping he tosses all the girls aside and comes out as gay. Unlikely, but a boy can dream, right?

Don't even get me started on the Ali character. I hate to say this, but when I googled for the pics I found some article about how he's reunited with her after the show. Probably just internet buzz to pump up the ratings. I also heard she's going to be the new bachelorette. there's a show to avoid like the plague.

The Bachelorette is actually the more entertaining of the two because there's a whole gaggle of guys to ogle and the producers have apparently discovered there's a ratings boost when the shirts come off.

 

The real revelation of tonight's finale is, of course, the cast of the next season of Dancing with the Stars.

I think they have a much stronger connection he and Vienna.. You can tell that he wants it to work with Tenley because she would be the "perfect wife" according to his family and people around him...but Jake just can't force what isnt there

Right on. There's only a couple of years of chronological age difference between the two girls, but they are miles apart in terms of life experience, maturity, and everything else. That little Vienna thing is something he is going to get in and get tired of very very soon.

Skimpy Dance Costumes for Jake, Please.

 

I'll be watching DWTS next season just to see Jake in those skimpy outfits with the tight pants and sheer & unbuttoned shirts (or hopefully no shirt at all). Jake's supposedly already an avid salsa dancer--that should be sexy to watch and will definitely get my adrenalin pumping.
