Hello Everybody,

 

Does anyone know what the gay scene is like in Geneva, Switzerland? Any suggestions as where to find escorts? I am going to be at there either this weekend or the next, and I was hoping for tips and recommendations. Thanks!

After spending 5 months in Geneva recently, the scene is very dead. Concord is the most notable rent bar, but not much to chose from and mostly drugged out algerian/brazilian guys, some are hot but be careful, they can be dangerous. Place call Baron Bar, think they closed, they had strippers on Friday. gayromeo.com is a good source, saw a guy named Kevin, brazilian cute, interactive, versatile. Lausanne and Zurich have more gay scene and better choice of escorts. Lausanne is not far 30-40 min by train most escorts will come to Geneva if you pay their train fare, about 40CHF roundtrip.

 

If you are in to cruisy scene, Mont Blanc bridge, underpasses on both sides of the lake, I walked by this daily to/from work and always boys give me the eye, not really my thing so I did not partake.

Thank you for the info Casteran. In doing some research I suspected that Geneva is all but dead, and you have confirmed that. I have looked through gayromeo but I am not convinced yet. I'll have another look and check out Kevin.

Geneva is far from being dead. The city may seem quiet for those used to the hustle and bustle of New York.

I think that Geneva is a beautiful city and if you want to entertain yourself you have to know the right people and where to go. Here's an online gay guide with everything the city has to offer.

Then take plane or train to Zurich, destination Paragoya Sauna or Carousel / Dynasty bars.

Sauna is crawling with Brazilan beefcakes to Czech chickens @ 100CHF ...

I have no specific advice for you. However, I would echo Glutes prior comments that Zurich seems to be the place to be in Switzerland if you are interested in rentboys. Geneva is pretty, but has a rather boring gay scene. All the "trade" goes to Zurich.
