I did a search and was a bit surprised to find no chat about Google Buzz here. Apologies if I missed it.

 

In any case, although they've made some changes this weekend, it causes major privacy concerns that I thought anyone reading this site should be made aware of. It integrates into Google Mail and hooks you up to your "circle of friends" based on people you e-mail frequently. I'm a bit fuzzy on how it all looks, but it sounds like your "google friends" can then see your circle of friends, etc. Could cause problems for people who email people they don't want others to know about.

Buzz had me following 7 people. Five of these were the same person.

I don't like the feature and don't plan to use it.

Good thing I don't use gmail to contact escorts.... I have people following me that I spoke to once on craigslist regarding rentals.

 

I could only imagine that a problematic escort having a list of your contacts and emailing them that you've been hiring hookers..

 

Google really screwed up this one and they don't have a fix yet!!

disabling buzz won't block all your followers.. You might have to manually block them??

i turned off gbuzz...it seems to be like facebook but they dont give you the option of who you want to follow
