Glad to see the Huff and Puff Post is offering something interesting. Most of their "journalism" is as shallow as the founder's attempt to cover up her gold digging!!

Bonus question: sort by rhizome, tuber or corm.

 

...sort of reminds of the Gilligan's Island episode where Gilligan reels in a crate of irradiated seeds. The resulting produce (1) looks weird -- 3-pronged carrots, etc., and (2) gives the eater a corresponding super-power: eagle-eye vision from the carrots, Popeye strength from the spinach, et seq. http://www.gilligansisle.com/scripts/script71.html
