Is the pricing different between CLIT and DICK/ASS in NYC? Just curious ... There seems to be this perception that you pay more for pu**y.

Guys, started this thread because two of my Hungarian friends are in town and they were asking what I told them were fees way too high for the market. They have now lowered their costs a bit... and I am trying to get them to be more market saavy and look into specials (e.g. "SNOW BLIZZARD WEEKEND SPECIALS" or "PRESIDENTS' DAY SPECIALS". Wonder if they will heed the advice??

 

Both have had a pretty wide career in European porn and both are very athletic (both were into some really great wrestling genre films recently, one having been semi-pro in high school wrestling in his homeland!!!) Both also happen to be solid weight-lifting type bodies on medium height frames (5'8" and 5'10") -- and they also like to do things together with clients...

That perception is right, I think, but not nearly as big a gap on average as the 1500/hr rate mentioned above might suggest. In NYC, Asian girl agencies are usually around 250/hr, sometimes 200. Other ethnicities seem to be in the 250-350/hr range, with agency fees tending a little more than for independents, as ever.

 

Not to doubt the 1500 claim. A few do post prices of 500-700/hour or even more. But I wonder how many people shopping self-service on eros.com are really willing to pay the Emperor's Club/Ashley Dupre rates that Spitzer so willingly coughed up for, after all, a different level of service.

I am convinced that many of these $300+ an hour guys are new to the business. They are young, good looking and have nice street bodies. They look at sites like rentboy and conclude that being fresh meat they can charge a fortune. I would bet money that many of them intend to jump into escorting for a short time, make a fortune and bail out. Since they don’t expect to be around for long they see no need to do any extensive research. They aren’t really very interested in looking into what makes an outstanding escort as they are convinced that being young, good looking and having a nice street body is all it takes. After not getting rich in a few months they either drop out or take a reality check.

 

Epigonos, i think you are spot on. and really, who can blame them? it's not like there's lots of easily-attainable info on getting into escorting.

 

personally, i am proud that i don't raise my rates in different locales, and have kept my standard session - 90 minutes - at the rate of $250, for 5 years now. i also don't play rate games - ie, i don't up the price if i go over the time agreed upon. to me, it's just about being fair, and treating my clients with respect.

 

to clarify, the only thing i change when traveling is my (almost two year old) Anti Recession Relaxation Rate. available between 3pm and 6pm, it's $185 for 75 minutes. unfortunately, i just can't swing it while traveling, given the additional costs i have to incur.

 

which by the way, i have to say - i choose to stay in "nicer" hotels when i travel, knowing full well that i'm not earning as much money, but i'm enjoying a better quality time. i also don't cram my day full of appointments to make up for the travel expenses, as i see the travel itself as part of my greater experience. ie, for my upcoming trip to SF i'll be visiting friends on the same days i'm seeing clients, and for my upcoming trip to lauderdale i'm hoping to have some true R&R on the beach - something i rarely get in DC (because i have such a crazy life schedule! kids, bf, house renovation, escorting...)
