Great ad.

 

Beautifully subtle, homoerotic commercial! Too bad it received only limited exposure in the US (mostly via the internet). The usual concept of selling cars with heterosexual machismo was turned on it's head in this spot. It begs us to question how far behind American advertising really still is. Hyundai sales accelerated 21 percent in Sweden the year after this ad was initially released (2006). Madison Ave. could learn something from the verve and boldness of European ad agencies.
