Thanks for the post! :) I love "Drinking Song"

If I were at that market place in Valencia, Spain I'd stop by and listen ...

Happy New Year, everyone ![/color]

Do you know if this was organized by the same people who did that production at the Centraal Spoorwegstatie in Antwerpen?

Unicorn,

You're referring to the "Sound of music" extravaganza at the Central Station in Antwerp (for the non-flemish speakers) which you can (re)view here:

The event in Antwerp was realized for a TV show called "Op zoek naar Maria" (Looking for Maria) which is a talent competition program that aired in Belgium on VTM (a flemish TV channel) this past year promoting the program's search for an actress to play the leading role in the "The Sound of Music".

Cheers,

What?

Do I hear someone talking about my favorite musical?

The hills are alive with the sound of music

With songs they have sung for a thousand years

The hills fill my heart with the sound of music

My heart wants to sing every song it hears

My heart wants to beat like the wings of the birds

that rise from the lake to the trees

My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies

from a church on a breeze

To laugh like a brook when it trips and falls over

stones on its way

To sing through the night like a lark who is learning to pray

I go to the hills when my heart is lonely

I know I will hear what I've heard before

My heart will be blessed with the sound of music

And I'll sing once more

I love these spontaneous moments of bursting into song. Wouldn't life be grand if we lived in a musical. Well a good musical maybe something by sondheim or Kander and ebb

With my luck, it would be Sweeney Todd. ;)

That's funny, MsGuy!:D

I adore musicals, too. However, my life set to music for stage would be much less like "The Sound of Music" and would more closely resemble The Little Shop of Horrors....but that's enough about my ex-wife!

YOU Two are TOO much

That was too hilarious MSguy and Goodfella, I swear everyday its one of you making me laugh at my desk. Its too early for me to think musical life and Im not depressed enough right now to claim Les Mis. Let me think on it (remember Goodfella, an ex is always better than a current I Know)
