Had he been a teacher or pastor, he would have been deemed guilty on the evidence of his self admission. In the case of private employers, there is still a line that cannot be crossed. I don't think we are in a position to know YET whether he crossed that line. Time will tell.

Had he been a teacher or pastor the other party would presumably have been a child. I would be the first to condemn such a man on self-admission. All we know here (so far) is that this famous man had sex with employees. I would be shocked if there wasn't more than one star-fucker in his employ. The evidence may change and my opinion with it, but so far I see no reason to castigate the man.

Wow, it's no longer innocent until proven guilty, now it's guilty before even being accused! I have yet to read a thing that says he harassed anybody. I'm not saying he might not have, but why the rush to condemn for an offense that so far no one is even alleging?

I'd bet Dave may be facing several lawsuits, not necessarily from his sexual partners but from their coworkers.

From Sexual Harassment Harassment and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

By Susan M. Heathfield

"Anyone who is affected by the conduct can potentially complain of sexual harassment. As an example, if a supervisor is engaged in a sexual relationship with a reporting staff member, other staff can claim harassment if they believe the supervisor treated his or her lover differently than they were treated."

A few days ago HellYeahSF was accusing us of being a bunch of sickos lusting after under-aged boys. Now he's calling us all "old ugly pigs"

Not all - just some.

If the shoe fits. . . .

Interesting how you keep stepping up to announce that it fits perfectly.

I wonder why.

I don't think your presumption is valid. There have been numerous cases of college professors having sex with their adult students as well as pastors having sex with adults. The issue here is the power disparity between the two parties, i.e. the teacher and student and pastor and congregant. Any sex between these parties is wrongful.

With private sector employers the line is drawn differently BUT there is still a line. And as someone posted above, what about the other employees who are not sleeping with the boss? How do they feel when they are placed at a disadvantage to the favored employee for no valid workplace reason other than the boss is screwing his co-worker. It turns out both are getting screwed, but one in not such a nice way.

Would you believe BOTH in not such a nice way?

The whole thing reminds me of the guy who went to the phychiatrist with a nervous condition. The psych asked him how his sex life was doing? He answered by saying about once a month. The psych said I think you need to increase your sex life to cure your problem. After a month, the guy came back and was more nervous than ever. The psych said, increase your sex life even more. After another month the guy came back even MORE nervous than before. After being advised to increase his sex life some more the guy said, I am a pastor in a small town and I am single, I think I am doing all I can to promote my sex life.

And then there was the manager who had to cut costs by firing one of his assistants. Both Jack and Jill were hard workers, and he liked them both. It was a tough call, so he decided to fire the one who went to the water cooler first. It was Jill, and he called her into his office.

"Jill, I have a really hard decision to make this morning," he began, "I have to lay you or Jack off."

"Gosh, Mr. Peterson," she interrupted, "I'd really appreciate it if you could jack off. I've got a terrible headache this morning."

'Scuse. Back to David Letterman.

Actually the shoe doesn't fit but quite frankly, that's none of your damn business.

You must be a sour, jaded individual to make the assumptions you continue to post. Don't judge everyone by yourself.
