Fighting cancer it is not an easy thing. He put on a good fight. He will be remembered as a great actor.

I think he will be remembered as a so so actor who looked really good and took the country by storm in Dirty Dancing. Must admit I did like him in To Wong Foo Love Julie Newmar. As for Ghost, he may have been the ghost but Whoopie was the movie.
