Lucky, the prolific internet poster created by a really nice Manhattan guy named Ken, was summarily dismissed late Saturday after more than 860 posts. Critics said the nightime move was designed to elicit the least attention on a night when most posters were too busy playing to notice.

"Lucky had become too ornery, too cynical," Ken stated. "We need to move in a warmer and friendlier direction." Lucky's successor, who as yet remains undeveloped, "will be the kind of guy who enjoys escort encounters, but does not need to post everytime he gets a burr up his butt."

Lucky made a last gasp effort to thank his Internet friends, but was unable to proceed once his support had been pulled. He quickly evaporated into Internet oblivion.
