Dana Torres-A little perspective please

I am as sorry as anyone that the helicopter and fixed wing aircraft collided over the Hudson River. It is nothing other than grief for the families and friends of those involved. However, why does the MSM keep bringing up Dana Torres and her desire to ride in a helicopter and the fact that the pilot and helicopter she rode in is the one that crashed? No other reason than the media's penchant for sensationalism.

 

Have any of you ridden in a bus that had a wreck the following day? Have any of you ever ridden in a limo or cab or friend's car that had a wreck the following day? And, if you did, did you think that except for the grace of God, it could have been you? Maybe you did and maybe you didn't, according to your own personal belief, but I don't think most even know if any public conveyance had an accident at any time subsequent to their last ridership. And, why should we? This idea can be easily carried to a ridiculous extreme and I think it has been by the MSM and others.

Dana Torres is a US swimmer..42 y/o I think? 50 m Sprint specialist..won Silver (I think) in 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Rode in the helicopter that crashed last week.

Dana Torres, the 5 time Olympic swimmer, and her daughter went for a sight seeing ride on the very same helicopter (and with the same pilot) that crashed with a single engine aircraft into the Hudson River on Saturday. There is more to the story but, as has been often mentioned herein, just Google it.
