I've had very good times in Montreal and I want to try Toronto next. The archives don't have any recent info and I have some questions I hope you can answer:

What hotel do you recommend (like the Gouveneur Place Dupuis in Montreal)?

Do the dancers from the early shift at Remington's do hotel visits at the end of their shift? Are they worth it or more like the Gaeity gay-for-pay muscle-worship types?

Is there any hustler activity?

Any recent escort experiences you'd like to share? Guys you'd recommend? (Please keep it less than US$250)

Your advice will be much appreciated.:-)

I stayed at the Delta Chelsea, which is right around the corner from Remingtons and presents no problem hosting escorts. But the Courtyard Marriott, Days Inn and several others are also good, and located between Remingtons and the gay village on Church St.

It is hard to answer your question about the dancers--my sense is that only a few are willing to go back to your hotel. But I may be wrong.

For escorts check either the Review page here or the listings in Xtra, the gay paper, which can be found anywhere in the city. In fact I posted a review today on Carlos whom I can recommend very much --saw him last weekend!

Visit Toronto often. Stay at either Courtyard or Primerose Best Western, both near Remington's and gay village. As to dancers at Remington's, have had private with them upstairs but never asked if any will come to hotel. Suspect some will.

As to escorts, CJ (if he will escort again after recent crisis in his life) is tops. And also Danny (formerly of Ottawa)is a really hot guy.

Have also had time with American Joshua. There are really many guys to choose from in Toronto. Check out M4M reviews. They are pretty accurate in my experience.

Enjoy Toronto. Its a great city and a fun city for gays.

RE: Toronto

I travel to Toronto a lot and always stay at the Delta Chelsea Hotel downtown on Yonge and Gerrard Streets, directly across the street on the Yonge Street side from Remington's. It's only a few blocks from the Gay Village. I LIVE at Remington's when I am in town and have brought many, many dancer's from Rem's back to the Delta. Never had a problem with the hotel. The Delta is a huge hotel with four entrances, a busy lobby, and a staff that doesn't hassle you at all. As a matter of fact, I was in town last year for Gay Pride and had sex with a guy from VideoSecrets on the balcony of my room which overlooked the parade while the parade was going on. It was memorable. (Many of the guys from VideoSecrets got their "start" at Remington's and several still dance there regularly.) In my experience, most of the dancer's at Rem's will go back to your hotel with you. I would venture to say that around 90% of the guys I ever approached in the club agreed to a private at the hotel. Their asking fees range from $200-$300CN, which translates to around $140-200US. There are lots of very hot guys to choose from but you have to clearly establish what they will and will not do. Some are straight, or claim to be, and some have a laundry list of do's and don't's. (I don't know about you; I always wonder about a so-called "straight guy" who claims he is not gay but will let you stick your tongue up his ass. Not that I'm complaining. :9 ) I usually scope out the dancers once I get to the club and have a private dance or two from my faves and then establish from them what they are into and decide who I will hook up with. If you are into cute guys with hot bods and, for the most part, fat, juicy Canadian meat, then Rem's is the place. On one visit, I met a dancer at Rem's who did extra work on Queer As Folk as a stipper. We hooked up three times. And I have also met many guys who work the Gaiety circuit. A nice feature is that you get to see and sample the merchandise if you so desire in the upstairs private area, where you can chat and have lap dances. The dancers usually work until 3 am but if you wish to get takeout, they can leave at any time. However, you will have to pay the house $20 if the dancer leaves with you before 3am.

I have been to Sneaker's on Yonge Street several times but found it to be sleazy and dirty. It has been touted as a twink pick-up bar but it looks like the first thing the twinks need to pick up is a bar of soap. It's the type of place where you watch your wallet. The guys look like burnouts. I don't think I would trust any of them in my hotel room.

I have called a few guys whose profiles I have found online. I concur that Aarronn is excellent. I am dying to call Danny, which I probably will do when I am back in TO in June. There are a few gay publications that also list models and masseurs in the classifieds. The papers are available at Rem's and other bars.

Anyway, there are lots of things (and guys) to do in Toronto. It's a very safe, clean city and you will not have a problem arranging for lots of fun. Enjoy.
