America's Got Talent - Another Billy Elliot?

The Miami auditions, which took place prior to Chicago, were going badly - really badly. The judges kept hitting the big red stop button in less than 30 seconds for most acts. Then once again, something special happened. The very last act was another wonderful surprise.

Do we have another "Billy Elliot"? Whether we do or not, this kid is a joy to watch. He had David Hasselhoff in tears at the end.

The crack in the voice brings me back to ehrn I was 13, but I could never dance as he does.

I had a few tears in my eye for the kid. I can imagine to a degree what he is going through at his age and I hope he continues to find success. Thanks for posting this clip. He is a real life Billy Elliot!

Tears here also! Listening to this young man talk about not being picked for sports etc brought back some very bitter memories for me. I'll offer a daily prayer for this lad's happiness.

I'm really glad I posted this video. I enjoyed reading the responses. Thanks to those who commented. I have to admit I was also in tears. I think the kid's background and intro were as powerful as his dancing.
