Has anyone been with Julian Vincenzo? Thanks!

 

He seems very overpriced for NY. Almost met him in Budapest on one or two occasions, but reports from fellow Hungarian porn stars and escorts not so positive. But then again... could have been professional jealousy as he topped ALL of them.

 

Notice that a new "agency" as strung up in Budapest that "sponsors" guys from there to come to US (NYC) -- I discovered I know the photographer of most of the photos used (he is a supurb escort himself) and the agency may be also partnered with a gay wrestling site there - as most of the photos listed are from the same site. http://www.topgaymodels.com/

 

The guys listed there are all well known Hungarian porn actors and many are known escorts working out of other agencies in Budapest. Hungarians are - like the name says HUNG and often very good, but you have to see who you are compatible with, and what you expect. Julian is a strict TOP.

All I can say is that I feel sorry it happened to you, and it is very much what I predicted above.

 

Julien Vincenzo is known to be a popular escort in Budapest only among a select group (such as if you are a model for MEN AT WORK and willing to be submissive to his aggressive top style). Oddly, I know a number of gay porn stars who have worked with him, and they are not complimentary...

 

I personally think that he has too many "issues" going on - and definately is NOT the escort type of person. There are many wonderful and interesting Hungarian escorts out there who are also much more reasonable price wise. I feel bad that you lost so much money on such a questionable escort. :mad:

Brian..Sorry to hear The Book Cover was much more interesting than the Story! I do suggest as others will that you definitely Write a Review of your Time with what turned out to be a Waste of Time & Money EURO Porn STAR! I do believe also that GUYS when "Working It" in their Home Base, knowing their REP there is very important for LOCAL BIZ, have a different "Attitude" than when Traveling and dealing with "Slam Bam Strangers" they will not see again!

Nearly all the "porn star" Hungarian escorts based in Budapest and travel are straight - and I am quite sure all the tops are straight.

Some are better at putting on an act than others but quite a few hardly try and just think they can get away with it.

CZECH is another Country with this Motto also. ;)

That was a funny quip... but Hungarians are definagtely NOT from the Balkans.

 

I spent many times in Budapest sampling the wares, and one of the difficulties in both Prague (Czech Repblic) and Budapest (Hungary) is the high number of gay-for-pay actors doing porn for quick money. Then too, you have the difficulty of sexuality in Central Europe where so many guys consider themselves bisexual, and seem to be so. They can be bottoming for you one night, and doing it quite aggressively and passionately, and the next night be with their girlfriend at a disco getting it on. I have never quite understood how they move back and forth so easily.

 

Among the escorts in both places who advertise (mostly on GayRomeo but also on other places), you have to pick carefully, which is why I generally use agencies in Europe (to get my money back if it does not work out).

 

Among the HUNGarians, I have met some who are more gay than bi -- and a few who are very straight but seem to like to be sucked a lot. There is some chemistry involved, admittedly.

 

Met some who really went around the circuit of bareback films, and still call themselves straight (amazingly!!!), and others who are tremendous looking muscle tops who are very gay with no hang ups when you get them in bed and they feel they can be "themselves".

 

I do find I trust more the Hungarians over the Czechs, but that is from personal taste and experience (and the Czechs are more twink types, which are definately NOT my type).

 

You will find the same true with Germans, Austrians, Slovaks, Poles and Russians, although I find working men from the latter two more gay friendly, especially the ones here now in US but also in Europe.

 

Of course, if you prefer less ambiguity, the Mediterranean types are better - Italians, Greeks, Spanish, Portughese... and maybe the French. Of course, those from the Low Countries (Belgium, Holland) are much more up front and honest in this, as are those form the UK and Isles.

 

This makes hunting in Europe so much fun!!!:D

I was chatting back and forth today with an Hungarian porn actor/escort who is a friend of mine and so the conversation about this topic came up. Brian, I am so sorry that you had this experience! I wish you would have proclaimed that he was only getting paid for 90 minutes and demand 1/4 of the two hour rate back. This guy gives the good working guys a bad rep!!! grrr!:mad:

 

Please do not associate me with him as we both have the same last name (stage name, that is).

Michael, do not worry -- most of us know he is not YOU and would never mix you up because of the common last name. I met you some years back in LA and still have fond memories of that time. :) You are far and beyond a class act, while "Julien" is definately not.

Once they firm up their plans, I will suggest they post travel plans here...:)
