Someone using this site to send SPAM?

I just received SPAM today and the "From address" was [email protected] . It has a different reply address (I won't print it but it is at hotmail.) and the it was about gay porn. Here is the text:

 

Hello... I'm a guy living in Switzerland and I'm looking for guys

living in the U.S. who enjoy gay porn as much as I do... I'm looking to

exchange some comments, reviews, ideas, on movies and porn stars.

I have hundreds of videos at home and I also may be interested in

sharing my collection. I'm not looking for money benefit, I'm just

interested in being in contact with guys who enjoy gay porn.

Send me a note if you're interested or if you want more details.

Now, I know this isn't from Hooboy but is a member of this site using it to get access to email and send SPAM out to members?

 

This is the first time I've gotten something like this. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

If your user profile has e-mail enabled, any e-mail sent from this site will arrive from [email protected] and the reply-to address will be the sender's address.

 

I always have to do a double-take. A message from HooBoy will often get a more caustic reply than a message from another poster might get. ;-)

 

(We've asked repeatedly to have this changed, but there's been no change.)

 

I received the same message. I'm curious how many others did, though.

I got the spam too. Well I assume its spam the guy in question is a member here, right?

I don't actually know. Don't have direct access to the server logs.

 

If this becomes a pervasive problem, we'll get Daddy invovled. (We have to kick him to wake him up sometimes.)

 

(And, for the record, you DON'T want to be the guy who calls Daddy on the phone and gets him out of bed. Been there. Done that.)

 

Just trying to figure out how widespread this is.
