I remember watching it live with classmates/friends, because that's what you did in those days. Another musical moment on the show burned in memory was the debut of the B-52s. Well, off to bed - grandpa needs to rest these old bones.

Thanks Rick for the posted link. It was a great performance. It also provided the reminder of what I liked most about Linda when she performed in a trio with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris. The did several performances together and had better harmonies still unmatched today, in my opinion. Call me a simple boy, but I appreciate the honest lyrics about love and family and they passion they put into their music. I appreciate the memory trip!
