Recession hurting the 20 Club

Cooper - we didn't get to the club until around 11:15 pm last night I'm afraid - later than normal - and it was totally dead. Not only were non of the Cooper Gang there - the dancers seemed to be ready to close up shop for the night and the audience wasn't even 1/4 full. TJ attracted a couple of admimers at the bar while I was doing a quick walk through the club - alas those admirers left dissapointed - and TJ and I left by 11:30. Not sure it will be worth $40 for admission again there if things don't improve.

Well, Tom, there's a practical consideration here. Some of us locals like to drive to Club 20 and parking is plentiful nearby BUT at 11:00 PM no parking rules apply and the police actively tow stragglers. Unfortunately, I know this from experience. Getting your car back costs more than a trip to the champagne room and is nowhere nearly as pleasant. I waited until 10:30 and the gang, realizing the time, started to round up as I left.

Since I wasnt at the Halloween party a friend sent me a pic of the beloved "Auntie Ida Dont Pay".

 

I hear there was much confusion over who the real "Auntie IDA Dont Pay" was since there were 2 who attended the party.

I guess no free lap dances were requested so we will never know.

 

Those who attended said they both looked alike.

Taz, "Auntie Ida Dont Pay" gave us all a good laugh at the 20C Halloween party. It was all done in fun.

 

I've been to the 20C the past 3 Sundays. The lineups are good as some of the past dancers are returning. Last Sunday, the youthful and hot looking Tyler, returned. He has the perfect "swimmer's build", a great personality, and puts on a lively stage show. Other past favorites of mine, Ryan and Costa, were both in the lineup. Former dancer now bar waiter Julio is looking good with his new hair cut and beefed up body. Ace, the other popular bar waiter, is still pleasing the crowds. Both are available for lap dances and champagne wishes. lol, drinks are served in-between their busy schedules.

 

I was informed by "Auntie Ida Dont Pay" that a new dancer will be joining the lineup this Sunday. I hear he's hot.

 

Good seeing many of the Hoovillians and lurkers in attendance. A really nice group of guys.

Not that I've ever seen ZZ. If he had dancers might have been treated with greater respect, better lighting, less back stage extortion and more thought about how difficult it might be to sell a spot light lit lap dance. I'm told the extortion continues but the lighting has been adjusted (more on stage: less in the lap dance area).
