I'm curious whether anyone here stayed in touch with Denise, who ran the Gaiety. Back in the day, many posters seemed to be on conversational terms with her. And when The Gaiety closed, for a long while afterward there were reports supposedly from Denise herself that she was looking for a new venue to reopen the club. But nothing ever came of that and I never heard of any follow up news about her.

Anyone remember this guy from back in the day at the Gaiety ?

I think I vaguely remember him. His youtube videos said he danced at the Gaiety and worked as a hustler.

He hasn't posted in about 4 years.

In his last video it sounds like he converted to Islam.

 

I hope he didn't join ISIS and that's why we haven't hear from him.

He looks vaguely familiar, Jim. Was he under any other names aside from "Chris". I tried looking through my Gaiety Visual Database with no luck.

I keep thinking he may have used the name Joshua, or maybe Michael, at the Gaiety.

I remember someone who kinda look like the photos.

He said he "was straight except for working the Gaiety" like the young man in the videos.

I remember he kind of behaved like the young man in the videos also.

He would keep coming up from Florida every 4 to 6 weeks to work the Gaiety. I thinking the 1993 - 1997 timeframe.

 

I hope our Gaiety dancer didn't join ISIS.

Does anyone have information on Tiger? He was the last one who appeared on stage the day Gaiety closed.

Also could someone PM me contact details for Kirk/ Voltaire. I met him on several occasions and had a great time. Never any problems.

Dominique, the " gentleman" is still in my memories. Any news about him?

Sadly Austin aka Mark Mast passed away. He was gorgeous looking!
