Madrigals New Orleans is NO MORE

Well I finally made it to the new Madrigals and sadly it is NO MORE. It is now called 711 Upstairs Night Club, a straight club.

 

I talked with Juan the owner and he said he tried for 3-4 months but just couldn't get dancers to come to New Orleans. It was very depressing to see drunk women using the stage as a dance floor in front of the large infamous Madrigals wood framed mirror.

So Juan is running the club? Hopefully as NOLA recovers (and eventually it HAS to), he'll see the day when he can bring back Mad's.

Isn't this the club that used to be in Chicago? If so, why did they ever leave there?

Yes he was sitting outside the entrance stairs to the club.

He got into some legal problems there so he decided to relocate to New Orleans. I don't know the details of his Chicago problems, others might.
