LustinGuy-- thanks for the update on Montreal, have fun.

That's certainly good news about Le Stock. Did you get to West Side Bar, if so, what's up there.

I love the nightlife

Is this the Cuban Roberto reportedly fired several months ago?

I find it helps to wipe the drool of anticipation from my chin just before the interview but that's just me. :p

You might consider:

I got to go where the people dance.

I want some action ... I want to live!

Action ... I got so much to give.

I want to give it. I want to get some too.

Oh, I ... Ohhh I ... I love the nightlife,

I got to boogie on the disco 'round, oh yea.

Stock rocks

Stock continues to be better than ever, spent most of last night there. Stopped in to Campus for a couple beers but headed back to Stock to enjoy Chris and Jean Philippe :)

I went to Westside bar with Jay and Brandon from Stock on Friday night. We all were itching for a little alcohol... its not a bad place but small and a little boring... the area for private dances isn't very private and the house dancers aren't that exciting.

Today (Sunday), Stock is closed so I will go check out the Stock guys hanging out at Westside... then probably go check out Adonis.

Oh and Cuban Roberto is still at Campus. I don't know anything about him getting fired but he is there this weekend and looking better than ever. :) I had several great dances with him yesterday afternoon.

I too didn't know he had been fired. He seems to be there every time I am. Unfortunately, his English isn't good.

TY: lol, great answer, great lyrics! So you don't think I'll have any problems with immigration if I'm just "shaking my booty", but not "drooling". :-)

"P.S. Hope to run into up there one of these days."

Not if I follow your advice. :-)

>LustinGuy, Why is Le Stock closed today (Sunday)?

I don't know specifically but I'm sure its the same reason they are closed Mon/Tues/Wed... the place isn't doing that much business without alcohol and those are the slowest nights.

My guess: it's going to depend on how well you shake da booty and how badly you drool. :p Doing both simultaneously definitely is contraindicated. :7

RE: Canadian Immigration

I too have been ‘back roomed’ by Canadian customs, which asked the standard questions of where, why, how long, etc. I think it may have been just a random ‘audit’ because I have not been hassled since. When she asked if I had ever been to court I gave her a simple, blunt yes. When she asked why, I told her I had jury duty. That seemed to terminate the interview. You can always add to your repertoire of responses that you enjoy going to the casino. I’m sure they must love it when Americans come and dump money there…

Well, it was bound to happen, with all this talk about problems with Canadian customs, I was called into the "back room" today, however, not when I arrived in Montreal, but by US customs on my departure. I was told up-front that it was a "random check".

When I was escorted into the back-room, I tried to remember all that Tamapa Yankee had taught me, such as to "shake my booty", but not to "drool" and to tell them how much I enjoy Montreal night life. I also asked that the curtain be left open for I was only going to pay for a $10 song... None of this valuable information was necessary, for the entire "interview" took less than 2 minutes and consisted of the exact same questions I've always been asked by the customs agent. There were no questions about why I frequently travel to Montreal or if I have ever been in "court". I just chalked it up to being a slow day at customs.

RE: Canadian Immigration

I've heard far more horror stories of Canadians visiting USA than the other way around. Things got really bad when there was an amber alert.

Personally - at least recently - I've not had any problems entering the USA. But then I visit USA only 1-2 times a year. A number of years ago, I was denied entry because I had just finished school and did not have a job at the time.

As someone mentioned earlier, USA politicians thought Canada was not strong enough in implementing its Immigration laws in attempting to keep terrotists out. Potentially, these non desirables could enter US easily from Canada.

As a result, Customs and Immigration officers have become a lot more vigilant.
