I checked "The Lounge" "Ask an Escort" and "The Deli" at around noon today (Sunday - Pacific time) and read all the new messages.

It is now seven hours later & I just checked them again - and - there were NO new posts.

Are Sundays really that slow - or am I losing it?

I have noticed that also-I guess people are recovering forom last night.

Monday is another day I noticed that can be slow too. It is nice that things have calmed down here and posts are not so insulting and bitchy any more, but there does seem to be a lack of them though

Since Hooboy and his staff began censoring posts and taking other steps to discourage the more creative members from posting, the message board is no longer a very interesting place. There are fewer new threads created and those that are created don't last long because they aren't very absorbing. I no longer see threads on the most controversial issues because the people who created and posted in those threads are no longer around. Instead I see the 20th thread from Rick Munroe on the best way to suck his dick. There are a lot of different things competing for people's leisure time so it is not surprising that people are spending less time here.

I have never been riveted by the bitchy, better than God drivel thrown on this site by self-hating workers of negativity. Because I am of this opinion I have not missed the negative tone of many posters here. Today I didn't miss it. It was back in full force.

Must go! I'm due for the fifth lesson in "How to Suck Mr. Munroe's Cock"

Thankful for a kinder, gentler and yes doggone it "People Like Me"

Web Site.

The Bland Following the Bland

I used to check out the message board here frequently but it has become boring so now I only look at it once in a while. It is now best described as the bland following the bland.

It's true. I miss TruthTeller and Donnie and even the anti-escort brigade. It's a shame & I agree that it was a mistake to drive them away. However, it seems like the focus is back to searching for escorts, and discussions of how to improve client-escort relations/encounters. What's wrong with that?

>Instead I see

No, it was a thread on how to suck dick, not necessarily my dick. I wrote it from the cocksucker's perspective.

RE: The Bland Following the Bland

Bland? Compared to the previous board it certainly is. But that's why sexy posts like cocksucking and rimming lessons make for some interesting reading. They liven things up and remind us that it is the sex stuff that keeps Hooboy's paypals happy!

What's wrong with it is that it's a subject that requires no more than a few minutes of thought for any person of at least average intelligence. I don't spend much time here anymore for the same reason I wouldn't spend much time on a board devoted to discussions of the best way to tie your shoelaces. I've already figured out how to do it.

Following the principle of "don't like it, don't read it" I didn't bother to read it. As soon as I saw the title, summary and author I passed it by.

And yet you couldn't resist mentioning my name & giving that thread & me a gratuitous plug. Cool! :*

In response to your question, the answer is the former, not the latter. Usually I surface this site once a day; yesterday--Sunday--had virtually NO NEW hits or threads. In the past few days, there have been few new threads. As a "Hooboy" junkie who would like to give the site a rest, for at least three or fours days in a row, something that I have been UNABLE to do-- I surface the various threads and centers daily--namely the ones that you listed...AXIOM2001

Well, for what it is worth I'm getting my ducks lined up to post either one humongous post or four or five separate but related posts. The subject: My weekend in Montreal -- at least that part I'm allowed to talk about! (How's that for a tease.) Of course I don't guarantee that it or they will raise the dead, but I got a rise, or several, out of the research. ;-)

The dilemma: lone long post to torture those that dont read more than a screen -- thus being torn between a deeply engrained habit or the pain of war and peace in search of new grist for the MC mill }> or five not-so-long posts each specific to a particular strip bar. Also to be included is a pic of one of L'Adonis' stripper boys, that is if I can implement the damn techique to post the pic.

THe weekend was BIG FUN. I didn't know that 50 hours could be so fun packed. }>

Hey - I lived in Montreal for 2 years before moving to Vancouver, so I know exactly how fun packed those hours can be.......... not to mention it also has the best selection of restaurants on the continent!

Waiting to hear from you and dying to get there myself! Hired two boys of strip show stages this past week(Jimmy McGuire from Nob HIll and Johnny fromt he the Gaiety) both of whom were beautiful and dancers in Montreal. As Johnny told me.... "Montreal is the home of the beautiful boy." He convinced me! And I can't wait to go. Will wait anxiously for your report.

Well, there are beautiful boys everywhere... but I have to admit that Montreal takes the prize for beautiful boys per square kilometer... by a lightyear maybe.

Marc, thought of you last weekend when I saw a half-dozen of your type and one cornered me for a $10 dance. :9 You will be in heaven, I think. }>

No, Taboo was last on my stroll through the village and I ran out of time. :-(

I was referring to the Sat. afternoon audtions at L'Adonis. ;-)

Why would I want to resist mentioning it? I thought it was a good example of how boring and repetitive this board has become lately.

Next time I come here I expect to see a thread titled "How to Clip Your Fingernails."

LOL This is your 3rd post in the same thread telling us once again how boring and repetitive this board has become. I guess you really are trying to show us by example! :*

You are the one who started this conversation by responding to my post, not the other way around. And you keep reading and responding to my boring, repetitive posts. I guess business must be a little slow for you this week. No conventions in town?

hey rick i think spendlove is trying to make a point and i find it hard to believe as a look time poster that you can not see what his point is. the fact that there are so few posts and the ones posted are so "who the fuck cares" shows me the board has lost something. at least for me.

I not only saw his point, I agreed with it (post #5). And I was one of the most vocal when the long-time posters were being driven away. What I can't see is the value of complaining instead of trying to improve the situation. For my part, I've been posting stuff that some people find entertaining. What is spendlove doing to make this board less "boring and repetitive", aside from complaining that this board is "boring and repetitive", and that he doesn't want to suck my dick? (I kinda think he does, tho) (can't wait to see the cunty response to that!) }>

Things were slow in NYC in the few months after September 11 but it's really picked up considerably since then. Most of my work this week consists of out of town jobs with Derek, so I'm not sure what's happening as far as conventions in New York.

Well I don't know about him - but I'd suck your dick any day - anywhere - Times Square would be great - with the Pope, Geo. W. and

Ted Kennedy watching and Barbara Walters reporting.

Then I'd munch on your butt until hell froze over!

Oh Well - I can dream can't I?

You're on. I love public sex but I think Dubya would make anyone's hard-on go away. He's the Anti-Viagra!

I can just hear it: "Wick Munwoe weawwy shot quite a woad--it's incwedibuh"

...and the sight of Teddy, God love him, would make sure it never came back. There's nothing like bipartisan erectile dysfunction.
