Welcome to the 3rd PICTURE WEDNESDAY. I am really glad so many of you are sharing info on the PICTURE WEDNESDAY featured fellow, such as, what they are up to, when will they be on the Gaiety stage again, etc.

I doubt that anyone will be reporting if the featured fellowS for this PICTURE WEDNESDAY will be back anytime soon. This Nostalgia Edition features three dancers from the past. Any other news, info, pics, etc. that anyone can share will enhance this post.

I can’t take credit for any of the pictures and information you see here. A generous benefactor sent everything to me. AND there are more where these came from! My data files, along with my lips, are more protected than Anna Nicole Smith’s crack stash. Did anyone else see her at the American Music Awards? She was really loopy!

Memory Lane Trip #1 - JAKE

http://www.2and2.net/Uploads/Images/Jake0000001.jpg

According to my info he danced at the Gaiety over a year ago. His return was a surprise for many. He hasn’t been back since. Does anyone know if he will be back or what he is up to?

Memory Lane Trip #2 - ENZO

Here is another performer who appears to be off the Gaiety radar. Is he gone for good? Enzo has often been described as Rocha's cousin. True? False? Water cooler gossip?

Memory Lane Trip #3 - Kirk aka Voltaire

It seems he put the “hey, where’s my money!” in hustler. Legend has it this Gaiety bad boy had set quite the standard for outrageous rip-offs. Apparently many a complaint (of course form 27hsj983 was used) was filed with Denise and this was one part of NAFTA she stopped.

I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate overeating, drinking too much, and being touched by your “funny” uncle. Please have a healthy and safe holiday and remember, it is a homicide even if the authorities say you were justified in making the gravy ladle become one with Aunt Ragina’s forehead.

Who but our own VDN could come up with such a stunning triptych as this? A doll and a devil, with a good guy tucked in between!

It certainly got my Jake memories going, and while I gather them together over the next few days, I hope some of you guys will share your own thoughts on the other two. (I never played with either--but God knows I've read plenty about Kirk already--all of it fascinating. So let's here more!)

Bravo on your nimble commmentary, too, VDN! It was just right!

Love picture Wednesdays and look forward to them each week

Some how after seeing them this week and then going into the kitchen to stuff the turkey just doesn't seem right.

Txpaytoplay,

Thank you for the compliment. I will continue to provide my M4M threads as long as my pornography grant from the Republicans continues to be funded.

hed4str8,

A doll and a devil, with a good guy tucked in between? Thank you. Now I finally have the name for my salacious autobiography. It was going to be called "Bleeding and Sad" but I like your title better.

Cooper,

Your continued support means more to me than a hand-job at the post office.

Candyman,

Stuffing a turkey is exactly like heterosexual intercourse. As you can see, you are missing nothing. I am glad PICTURE WEDNESDAYs tickle your pickle.

NorthWoods,

A dirty Advent Calendar!?! LOL!! Thank you. After paying a plumber $666.25 today your comment was the best laugh I had and needed all day. Notice the price for the plumber is also the devil's number.

OK, VDN, that did it! Now you've made me go 'overdraft' in my memory bank! Seeing that proud Canadian prong again takes me back to many, many late-night encounters with the Merry Jakester throughout the 90s.(And what a wonderful decade it was--especially when viewed from the grim and soon-to-be-grimmer prospect of today.)

Those of you who spent any time with Jake will surely recall him as a little powerhouse whose personality (in all its meanings) was far bigger and more alluring than those of most of the guys he shared the stage with. He'd come bouncing out, smiling and bright-eyed, and do a hi-energy first number that woke up even the most somnolent seniors in the house--only to return, sporting a magnificent membrum virile and a welcoming grin that had 'em lining up in the lounge even before he'd left the stage.

As warm & friendly as he was energetic, Jake had the gift of gab. And an amazing mind, too: I remember him greeting me by full name (and phone number!) six weeks after the very first time we'd been together. I loved his self-confidence and happy extraversion. Those qualities, plus another you might call 'joie de sex,' made him seem like a throwback to the Golden Age of Trade that flourished in the late 50s. His face, haircut and sturdy farm-boy build make him look like one of those hot little sailors or marines Bob Mizer immortalized in the pages of Physique Pictorial. (I once told him I longed to bring him home from some Times Square corner dressed in tight old-style Navy whites, barn-door and all, with his cap perched way back on his brush-cut. He loved it! Alas, I never got the rig together to recreate that particular little AMG fantasy. But he was more than ready to throw himself into it, believe me.)

Sex for him was the apex of partying--having a real good time. And he showed the kind of enthusiasm that no pro--however good at dissembling--could ever hope to fake. Of course, since my scene was--and is--pleasuring a friendly piece of trade, we got along particularly well. But I'm sure he did a lot more with other guys, and without compromising his str8 credentials one iota. In that sense, I'd say he was functionally 'bi.' He might even have been the genuine article, a psychosexual switch-hitter, and I know that he was turned on by the idea of an anything-goes orgy. (He may well have indulged in more than a few such revels with some FlashDancer strippers and his compatriot and brother stallion, Vinny/Danik, toward the end of his Gaiety career. Just imagine THAT scene, guys!)

But his primal appetite was for the ladies. He always had a few girlfriends back in his native Toronto, and one of them finally snagged him and persuaded him to settle down--leading, alas, to his disappearance from the Gaiety. It was during some marital discord--starting late August of 2003--that he made a surprise pair of return visits to 46th Street. But he dropped off the map again soon afterward--to the great disappointment of many old fans, including yours truly. And while I want him to have a long and happy married life, I can't help but hope. . .

Luckily, he left behind a few mementos of his salad days. He did a whole series of wrestling videos for BG (is that the same as CanAm?) and although none are nude, just the knowledge of what 'Jake the Snake' has lurking in his speedos makes viewing them a pretty erotic experience. (His 'rassling name' is 'Larry Jensen,' as I recall.) He told me that he'd also made a couple of nude oil wrestling videos with a gal. I found them briefly online, but have since misplaced the URL and company name. (I'm still looking, though!) And he did a a wonderful spread of high quality color pix for a glossy one-issue gay mag that was published in DC four or five years ago. I KNOW I have that one tucked away, and when I can scan Jake's pages, I'm going to pass them on to the ever-dextrous VDN for promulgation here!

Meanwhile, as befits this festive season, I'm thankful for the many good times I shared with Jake in days gone by. And I hope some of our fellow posters will share whatever memories they have of this very memorable guy!

WOW - and the flood gates have been opened! I should become a sex therapist as my "pictures inducing memories" therapy sure worked on you! GREAT dish of delightful info you served ... just in time for Thanksgiving dessert!

AND just imagine the need for Motrin as I am sure asses would have been hurting.

Here are some vintage looking pics of Jake.

Kirk 6/1998 at non-Gaiety apartment on 49th Street

Thanks for bringing back all these memories! FYI, I had a private with Kirk/Voltaire at the non-Gaiety apartment on 49th Street (the first floor one, I think) in June 1998.

As far as ripoffs go, he wasn't that bad (I've had worse), and I remember he gave me the address of a website that had mini-movie and photos of him (I've long since lost the URL). We stopped on the way so he could get a health shake on Eighth Avenue, and he walked me back to my hotel after the private - this was about midnight on a Thursday night.

Also, enjoyed all the photos of Jake.

RE: Kirk 6/1998 at non-Gaiety apartment on 49th Street

Hey, BaltOb!

It was great seeing your post just now. Among other things, it made me realize how strongly evocative even a few words of recollection can be! Those pithy details (such as K stopping for a health drink on 8th Avenue) made the whole thing amazingly real for me.

It was interesting, too, that your memory of K wasn't the sort of horror story I used to read a few years ago. The way some of his victims carried on (and I DO believe they were victims), you'd have thought this smiling, slender, boyish charmer was a mix of Vlad the Impaler, Attila the Hun and the AntiChrist. Very few posters ever came to his defense. (But many were clearly still beguiled by his obvious good points.)

I remember that after being dropped once and for all by Denise, Kirk continued to spend time in the States (Florida and NYC), hanging out at Stella's every now and then but mostly doing business via ads in Next & HX, as well as on RentBoy. He had more aliases than a major league con man, and often teamed up with his brother. (This guy, if he was indeed his brother, had a great body but was no match for Kirk in the meat department.)

Who knows what they're up to these days. . .

VDN,

I heard that the ad for "Micheal" - spelled that way - on Rentboy under LA is Kirk's ad. However, I just heard that he was seen dancing at Remington's in Toronto for a few days this past week. He gets around.

THANKS FOR THE INFO STEVE! Yes, he does rack up those frequent stripper miles for sure. Now, I went to the ad, harvested the pics and here they are. Are these pics below showing the same Kirk in the pics above? Where the hell is Waldo? AND all the pics for the LA ad look like all different guys(?).

None of the pics are actually Kirk. Lately he always uses fake pics. I agree that all of these pics look like different people. Having said all of that, I've 'known' Kirk for a long time and never had a bad experience with him.
