Have a great 'virgin' trip to Montreal. It is the REAL Magic Kingdom, IMO. I will be there next week though, August 26th to 30th, if anyone else will be in town and want to meet for drinks with the boys. Staying at the Crowne Plaza.

Au revoir.:-)

Spida--

There have been several recent threads with more information than you probably want about where to stay in Montreal. Here are 3 of them:

(By the way, can anyone here tell me a quick and easy way to get the url's of previous threads and include them in a post like this?)

Unity II (next to Stock) and Parking (just off St. Catherine) would probably be the best bets for dance clubs with Stereo(St.Catherine) and Red Lite (in Laval) for after hours. Skyy (St. Catherine) seems to go in and out of favor with the local crowd and I don't know if it's back as a hot spot or being avoided. I've gone when it's been crowded (and fun) and empty (at least you can flirt with a hottie bartender.) Oasis seems to be the sauna with the 'prettiest' crowd. I thought I read somewhere a new sauna was opening. But no further info on that one. Hope that helps. Anyone live in Montreal who can better update the hot spot review?

You forgot to mention Black Eagle bar as well as Stud bar, very popular among local bears/leather. And not only them. For the admirers of Disco it's a night club in Bourbon hotel basement - not's really remember it's name.

The disco downstairs at Bourbon used to be called La Track (Le Track?) and had a kickass DJ, his name was Mario, and I believe Wednesday was the big night there. Last year, re-visited to find the new disco theme and the DJ gone. The place was fairly empty so we didn't hang around. Perhaps we'll give it another try next week. It was my favorite place to go to dance when it was La Track.

I was also in Montreal over the weekend. It was rather quiet in the village but full of hot looking college kids walking along Rue Ste-Catherine. I stopped by Stock to check the place but didn't stay long. I didn't see many of the regulars there this weekend--not even Manuel who's a fixture. In my opinion, Stock is looking more and more like the "old" Adonis which used to be THE place to be avoided (not anymore). Speaking of Adonis, I had privates twice with Pierre who was hung, thick and generous in the back. I tried to coy him into going back to my hotel but he was much too tired and wanted to go home and sleep (after all, it was 2:30 a.m.). Orion of Taboo is going back to France next week. Very nice and sweet kid but just wasn't my type. Tommy was nowhere to be seen; I hope he took the weekend off and did not move on to other things. Not yet at least. Blond-blue-eyed boy Adam was there. But Big Boy Anthony moved to Campus Days. He likes it there since, he says, he doesn't have to worry about the bouncer as he did at Taboo. He too was generous with me in the back.

Rene of Hot Boys retired from escorting, so Michel sent another hot looking 18-year old twink. Cute face but a dud in bed. I stayed at Hyatt courtesy of Priceline ($45/night). The hotel was full frat boys (read: under 21) from Maine (maybe Upstate New York). They were going from floor to floor with drinks in hand. Too bad I didn't have my swim suit or I would have followed them in the pool. We're free to fantasize, right?

Those of you who remember (blond) Rick of Campus nights from three years ago is back on scene. I hope Brandon or Christian will be the next one to make a comeback.

I was good at controlling my spending. I set a limit on what I want to spend on boys for the night, left the rest of my cash and ATM card at the hotel. It worked.

Finally, there's this hot-looking U.S. immigration officer at Dorval airport. Late 20s or early 30s, nice, friendly, the kind of guy you would approach and talk to in a bar. And he loves to chat too. I would have stayed longer if this jerk behind me wasn't giving me the looks to move. Check this guy out the next time you go through passport control. You will agree when I say he can be the next Mr. Stock or Mr. Campus 2005.

Those of you going to Montreal during Labor Day and/or for Black and Blue Festival, have fun and have a great trip.
