I heard today from a few of Stella's fellas that the bar may reopen this week. It seems that one of the dancers took a private show with an undercover cop. Don't know what's happened to him but the bar may reopen next week.

PS - I know there are other, and in some people's opinions, better bars in midtown and in the city at large. However, for us non-city folk some of us out of towners have our little routines. When I am not doing the village I enjoy a jaunt to Virgin records, a pre-G drink at Stella's, the G show then Stella's. I am a simple, old fashioned guy. I am not into fancy tricks. Simple tricks do me just fine.

I have defected from Stella's and am now in love with LaFleur's. Yes, quite a few of the patrons from Stella's is now in attendance at LaFleur's as are many of the dancers. Things were a little slow at the beginning but have since blossomed like a tampon in a pitcher of Kool Aid (don't ask...)

 

I, too, have gone by Stella's a few times just to see what's cookin' and nothing seems to be cookin'. Last night--at LaFleur's--I was once again told that the bar was planning to re-open, that dancers have been called (but not given a date) and things would be back to normal. It appears that one of the new dancers picked up a cop for sex...he (the dancer) has since been deported back to Australia.

 

I don't know about Sunday (tonight) but the weekends have been PACKED at LaFleur's...lots of hot men (Babyface, Ryder, Dr. Love, Danny with the edible ass, etc.) and although the patrons are slightly older and more on the Latin persuasion (a plus in my book) it still is a good mix. The staff couldn't be nicer and a fun time is had by all.
