Just returned from South Beach and I loved the Bungalow bar in the Twist. 8 or so muscle boys stripping and moving around the room to be groped for a buck or maybe a lap dance for 20. Twist is between 10th and 11th streets on Washington. Ocean street runs along the beach; next street west is Collins, then Washington. The gay beach is west of there, at about 12th St--look for the two rainbow flags. A Hotel in that region is a good idea, so that you can walk to all the fun. If hiring the boys at Twist is important to you, you might consider staying at the Best Western on Washington just across the street.(used to be called the Park Washington). Of course, the hotels on Ocean are the nicest and most expensive. The nude beach, a section of which is gay, is at about 165th St with slow traffic. Not worth the trip in my opinion, but maybe I was not there at the best time. The other strip bar in South Beach is Score, but said to be not as good as Twist. It is on the Lincoln Ave Mall, which is between 16th and 17th. Score is about 5 blocks west of Ocean. At Twist, the strip show doesnt start until 10 to 10:30. No cover charge.
