Let's start at the west end. Campus during the afternoon was good every day. They have top quality twinks from 3-9, along with some of the medium sized guys, but none of the massive ones. Highly recommend for afternoons are Tyler (beautiful blond), Bastian (charming brunet student), and Pascal (flaky but cute-as-a-button) dark blond. Derek is a little older, but CAN be a lot of fun (altho sometimes not; get his mood first). All the boys were fun to talk with and all did very nice private dances; Pascal's is really pretty special. The ambience is really nice, enough cutomers during the afternoon but not jammed, and dancers eager to make money. They will sit and talk with you for quite a while before they expect you to take them for a private. Meanwhile you can rub their back, their leg, etc. Night time is a different story; all massive bodies.

 

Many of the boys are happy to do privates at your hotel, but ask nicely after a lap dance. Be aware, however, that they are dancers and not escorts. They do not see their primary purpose as to be active in bed. They will allow you to touch and caress them all over and to suck their dicks, but often they will not reciprocate. Kissing will probably be limited to closed lips and a little pecking. Be sure and ask and be prepared. They will manually jack your dick, and many expect the encounter to be completed in 15-20 minutes when you cum. Although they talk about an hour engagement, they really understand this to mean "period of time until client cums." For full service, call for an escort.

 

Next moving east is Stock. The physical room is the best of all. Very nice stage with lots of close-up seating and viewing. The booths in back are the best of any bar, except for lighting; they are pretty dark, so choose your booth carefully. Stock has just recently tried to get an afternoon session with twink type dancers, to compete with Campus, going. Currently it is not thriving. Each day last week I looked in before or after Campus, and there would be one or two customers and three dancers (two of whom went around the curtain to stand in the bar in front and chat with people throught the open windows). Boys told me newcomers must work two afternoons and then they are allowed to have two evening shifts. Boys told me they make little or nothing in the afternoons. One was allowed to stay from 9-10 just to make a little money. But if you see a twink or two you like in the afternoon, you will surely have a nice private with no difficulty. $10 each.

 

The dancers at Stock at night are almost all gym bunnies; if you covered their heads, their bodies are identical. If you are looking for perfect bodies, this is the place to see them up close, shaved, tan, and absolutely smooth. You can't see a pubic hair at all in Stock. (Their faces don't keep up; one night some of the dancers were really scary looking, facially-unshaved, caps pulled over their eyes, hairy chests, glaring expressions.) The music these days is almost impossible to dance to, so dancers end up stomping around the stage - not very interesting. All are eager to do privates, and some are a lot of fun. Christopher is beautiful to look at, but removed and remote. Eric is fun to watch and play with. A few are not too far from twinkdom and you can enjoy them. The crowd at Stock is almost always raucus and determined to have fun. They shout, laugh, clap, call out to the dancers, respond with ohs and ahs to extra endowments and sexy moves. Wed. night is Ladies Night, and the bar is jammed with them. Most are available for privates at your hotel; same reservations as above about their reciprocity. Christopher, for example, although married and the father of a child, does privates. If you want to pet and caress perhaps the most beautiful body you will ever see, Christopher will let you. But don't expect much more.

 

Nirvana closed and there are no plans to reopen.

 

Adonis is considerably improved with the influx of dancers leaving Taboo. The boys tend to be thin and young, and a few are quite effeminate. But seating is close to the stage, the boys are all eager to sit with you, chat, and then move to the back.

 

There are a number of hustlers along St. Catherine Street, especially near the Bourbon complex. They all looked pretty seedy to me.

 

Taboo is furthest to the east and is undergoing difficulties, which you can read about in another post. They still seem able to attract lots of cute, smooth, nubile guys of 18-23, who are eager to earn money. The ambience is very nice, adequately lighted, drinks are $3.00 or $4.25 on different days and at different times at night; I can't quite figure out the system, but I think this is a very modest cover charge for what you will experience. Seating is pleasant. In sets of three dancers, each boy does a fast number starting with clothes on and gradually removes shirt and opens pants. Then a slow number totally nude and moving sensually and all around the stage. The nudity is the best and most complete at Taboo of all the bars.

 

But for private dances, which used to be a lot of fun, there are now severe restrictions. You may not touch a boy at all in the back room if he is nude, and the management and the boys know they must enforce this. What this means is that boys will stand on a little platform between your legs and move for you, get hard for you (at least part way), hold their sweet young cocks within one-quarter of an inch from your nose or lips and move the foreskin back and forth, but you may not touch or taste. They will offer you their sweet, round, absolutely smooth, ripe young asses, bend over and pull apart their cheeks and show you that delectable pick pucker not an inch from your eyes and nose and tongue, but you must not touch or taste. It really is strip TEASING of the highest order. I figure, for the entertainment they give me while they are on stage, and for the pleasure they give me watching them very close up, and the fun I have talking to them, I will ask them to do a couple of songs. I do not keep a boy for a long time any more, but two or three songs, I think, are fine. These days, because there is no touching, the rate of $6 per song is reasonable, so the boys have no problem dancing three songs for you and getting $20 CD. They are happy to get the money, and offer you a nice show smiling the whole time. Many are available for hotel privates, but again with the reservations listed above - do not expect reciprocity nor usually anything anal. It can be a lot of fun, though, having a cute nude young guy sit on your lap and chatting with him while you play with his cock and nipples and ass and whole sweet young body.

 

It is definitely worth visiting Montreal and these bars.

I visited Montreal for the first time over Memorial Day weekend. I was blown away by the two bars I visited, Campus and Stock. The open and fun atmosphere there was a revelation to someone like me whose only other experience at a strip club was the dark and claustrophic Gaiety. I'm a young guy in my 20's and it was a blast to be in bars where people talk, drink and just hang out.

 

I've been to female strip clubs in New York and they have more in common with Campus and Stock than the Gaiety. Yes, the girls keep their bottoms on but alcohol is served and it's much more of a party. I'm gay but I have more fun with my friends at the female strip clubs than I ever have sitting in stony silence at the Gaiety. Why can't New York have the same? Do the laws prohibit mixing alcohol and full nudity? If so, I'd trade a little less frontal for the alcohol.
