Ok, petty squabbling aside for one post what do we think of the new season Real World?

 

I don't like the apartment; it looks like a multi-suite at a W of your choice. And I know I'm in the minority, but I've never really liked Chicago. I've never found the There there that everyone else seems to gush over.

 

But the characters are improved, so far, over last season. Actually, I couldn't even watch last season's episodes for more than a few moments, largely because of the one roommates overly distracting hair. I think the one straight guy this year, the one who's in and out of a relationship with his girlfriend "back home" is going to turn out to be gay. Maybe it won't happen during the season, but he looks gay. I'm glad the eventually-out gay guy looks more like a man than boy this year. The model boy in Miami was too confident, and that twink in New Orleans was...well a twink, and there's no excusing that. I wish the intolerant girl was more charming, like the morman from the New Orleans episode. I think the nudity is simply a manifestation of "This is expected of us because of the Hawaii cast".

 

So, what do all of you think?

Oh yeah, and the hyprocrisy of not making allowances for twinks, and then in the next sentence criticising someone for not being tolerant is noted.

Everyone seems too straight laced. Looks like lots of sex and a few decent battles. THe blonde from Walawalahahchooo looks like she's leaving by episode 3 or so.

Worst Cast. EVER.

 

You might notice the houses are getting bigger every season to increase the amount of crap that they can sell after the show airs. Like any of those oh-so-trendy objet d'art? They can be yours thanks to MTV and Bunim-Murray Productions. Blecch!

 

Its amazing how similar this cast is to previous ones. Just read the cast descriptions on MTV.com they are virtual copy of previous casts. Have fun doing the comparisons. After watching Real World I now know what the word "whore " means. Of course I'll be watching the show. Jeff

Real world rocks, real world has always rocked. Except LA and Boston, and last season, which were all lame, but other than that it's always rocked. Well maybe this season will suck too, I can't tell yet.

There are some seasons I tuned in and other that fail to grasp my interest.

 

New York - I liked. Mainly to see if Eric would take of his shirt.

LA - It grew boring. I stopped watching after Irene left.

SF - I stopped watching after Puck left

London - I stopped watching after the first episode

Miami - I liked. I never did figure out who was the biggest bitch, Flora, Melissa or Dan

Boston - I stopped after the third episode

Seattle - I watched sporadically. I still think all the guys were gay.

Hawaii - I stopped after Ruthie went into rehab

New Orleans - I liked. Danny and Jamie were hotties. Melissa was entertaining. You saw Julie evolve. It was I thought the best season.

NY2 - I stopped watching after the first episode

Chicago - I can't motivate myself to watch the first episode.

 

I want to see Real World Amsterdam, RW Toronto and RW Sydney. Get this out of the states

I myself like this cast - it's a lot more

interesting than last season's lifeless housemates.

 

And we got two eye candies in Kyle and Chris,

andthat's more than enough to make me tuned in.
