Best Surprise: The actor who plays Chris Hobbs still has a job, at least for this episode. He appears in a Justin dream sequence. Sorry, I know he is supposed to be the bad guy, but ya gotta admit he's cute. Will we see him again? -- I hope so.

 

Mikey and Emmit try out a part-time job as bare-assed butlers.

 

Ted gets fired for watching gay porn at work. At least it was kinky porn -- no sense getting fired for over softcore.

Brian has difficulty building a swingset -- I think pitching a tent is more his speed.

 

The main plot centers around Justin being all whacked out; so whacked out that his backdoor is closed for business, even to Brian. A two-bit shrink tells Brian that in order to liberate Justin from his demons, he must force Justin to remember the assault (hey I spelled it right this time). Dauphnie & Brian try a prom reinactment, and later a return visit to the scene of the crime, all to no avail. But baby Gus comes to the rescue and jolts Justin back into perfect mental health by waving a toy bat. So Justin is cured, and ready to be a wide receiver again.

 

For the rest of the plot, pretty much assume the opposite from last week:

 

-- Justin's Mom now wants Brian to fuck her little boy up the ass;

-- Melanie decided to buy the cow after all;

 

Oh, and It's Mikey's turn to be on the drug and sex binge.

 

Anyone wanna bet that by the end of next weeks episode, Justin's hand is better, and Ted has a new job?

They've sorta been telegraphing his "conflictedness" since the start of the show. Whaddya bet he ends up in bed with either Justin or Brian or both, setting the stage for more angst, anger, and another possible season-ending cliff-hanger.

 

They've set up conflict between Mikey and his new boss/former rival at the Big Q.

 

Ted's ex-boss suggests he'd be happier in another profession. It would be out of character (for him) but completely in line with the show to have him take on an activist position with a gay rights group just in time to come to Mikey's rescue at the Big Q.

 

The producers have said, in an interview, that Mikey gets a new love interest this season.

 

I can easily see Emmitt moving from nude waitering to escorting, and the other guys getting pious (and pompous) about it.

 

There are a lot of directions they *could* go this season. I just wish they'd get going.
