For the past couple of weeks when I've tried to give a rating I get a weird two-toned bleep and can't enter my thoughts. Any idea what's wrong?

another rating question...

i thought for someone to rate another user, he had to enable rating of his own user name. am i wrong?

several people have rated me--both good & bad--but don't show up in the list of rateable people.

 

any thoughts?

Sound like you installed that popup blocker HB recommended. It makes that funky bah-bleep when it kills a popup, but I've seen it shut down this site entirely.

 

I used it for several weeks, but am no longer using it.

Yes.

 

You can enable/disable rating of yourself, but that does not affect your ability to rate others.
