My post counter is stuck

I post quite a bit but seem to be stuck at 91 posts. What could be wrong? Do you need to smack your machine on the side to unstick my counter?

I don't think your post-counter is stuck. You said it was at 91 but the message I'm replying to says 92.

 

It appears the server doesn't update the post counter "live and in real time" -- more like sooner or later it'll catch up.

 

I proved this recently in a conversation with Talvin DeMachio. Two back-to-back posts showed the same count. The next day, the count was updated.

 

I suspect it's partly browser cacheing, and partly server cacheing. But I don't really know the details.

 

I do know it happens.
