Alert and Remove

On the bottom on the posts are shortcuts labeled "Alert" and "Remove". I've gone to the FAQ and don't find reference to these.

 

If I make a post and later decide to remove it, can that be done using the "Remove" shortcut?

Alert sends an e-mail to all moderators with your remarks if you find a message objectionable.

 

Remove *should* remove your message, but should only be availabe for your *own* messages.

Thanks for the clarification.

 

I usually don't change my mind after making a post. But, it's nice to know I can "recall" something spoken in anger or just plain inaccurate! :-)
