Yellow spots on new posts to a thread

Didn't we used to get yellow spots on all new posts to a thread, not just all new ones after the first 20 like it is now? If so, please bring it back. If not, could we please have it now? I come on several times a day for shorter periods than it would take me to read everything if I only came on once a day, so the date that it went up is not as handy as it might be for others. And we've gotten in the habit of adding to threads in the middle a lot more than we used to. Etc. Please?

The reminders work just as you want them to -- highlighting only the new entries -- so long as you log in. If you view the Message Center without logging in, they will not work correctly for you.

When I log in, the yellow spots to tell me which sections of the board and which threads have new things in them are activated, yes. But once I open a thread, the specific postings which are new since my last visit are not highlighted if they are one of the first twenty postings on that thread.

Strange... it works correctly for me every time.
