Washington DC - Entertaining a SF Friend

A good friend of mine will be arriving for his first trip to DC on his birthday this Thursday night. We're staying at the Radisson in Dupont Circle.

 

Driving up from out of state, and I haven't been to DC in years. Even though I'm somewhat familiar with the Navy Shipyard area. Soon to be demolished. x(

 

He's into worshipping muscular/lean bodies of street hustlers, hustlers in bars, or private lap dances at strip clubs.

 

He's used to San Francisco (Polk Street)/Ft. Lauderdale (Johnny's).

 

Is he out of luck, or what might be the best entertainment available for him in DC?

Drey, your friend should probably resign himself to the fact that street hustlers and hustler bars just aren't part of the DC scene anymore. While there MAY be some of the former lurking about somewhere I'm unaware of, friends who live there tell me that really hasn't been any of the latter for quite some time.

 

For detailed info on DC's glory hole scene (indeed, ALL cruising venues there), you ought to consult the listings/postings on www.squirt.com. (That URL might actually, if improbably, end in 'org'--can't remember now--presumably because it's a non-profit site!)

 

I wish there were better (and raunchier) things to report about our nation's capital, but them's the facts, I'm afraid. ;(

Sometimes, it better to visit a new place with low expections and then hopefully be pleasantly surprised! :9

At least, he can leave his thermal underwear at home! :-) That's at least one pleasant surprise!

 

Personally, I'm saving myself for Rio next month.

hed4str8, your advice was very accurate.

 

Maybe because the weather was a bit nippy, but there were no street hustlers to be found either at the benches of the Dupont Circle park or the tiny park at P St. & 22nd.

 

We spent at a lot of time at the Fireplace which is very convenient to the Radisson, and my friend actually did end up going with a 'sort of' Brazilian-looking guy with a gorgeous body named Calvin that we met first at Fireplace and then later on the street for his birthday.

 

His best experience, though, was at 'Secrets' where he met a Southern boy named Jimmy, who supposedly used to do construction, but that seems like a popular previous line of work there. He met my friend at the hotel the next day, and seems to be enthusiastic about expanding his business. Basically straight, but loves to get BJ’s.

 

We went to the new strip club ‘Heat’ and were disappointed. My friend was immediately reprimanded for touching above the knee, but I was told they offer private dancing in the back for $150. What planet do these people live on?? :-) But, they have only been open for a week, and seems to be a work in progress.

 

Even with the slim pickings, there is plenty of other things to do in DC, so my friend was not too disappointed. We went to see the Hope diamond, but were told we couldn’t take it with us. x( Oh well.

There were a couple more gorgeous, butch guys dancing at 'Secrets' that caught my eye.

 

One was from San Antonio which proved to me that things ARE bigger in Texas! :-)

 

Another was a cute blonde with a gorgeous butt. When I asked him about it, he said it was from going up and down ladders, so he seemed to be the real deal.

 

You should definitely check it out when you get back.

Has anyone had any luck finding anyone at the new place DC Heat?

I was at heat a few weeks ago and there were some cute dancers who escorted. But the first one I asked said he wouldn't be free at all that weekend and suggested we get together next saturday afternoon. I didn't want to book that far ahead and prefer evenings anyway. The second wanted $350 and told me he could not leave until 3am. I was pretty tired so I passed on him also.
