What is Hooboy's Problem?

Hooboy provides a great site here and it is much appreciated. But sometimes his response to e-mails is unnecessarily venomous. Check out the e-mail from some guy who wrote two e-mails regarding an escort whose review has inaccurate information; the accurate information, evidently, made the escort far less desirable. Hooboy's response? If the guy's too old or charges too much, don't use him. The writer's main point was that the INFORMATION on the website regarding the guy's fee was wrong, and that his picture was really old. Why attack this writer, who even went out of his way to thank Hooboy for this site?

 

What's with the comment in the e-mail section from Hooboy to some guy who asked that a review he felt guilty about be withdrawn? Hooboy says he'll publish both this guy's withdrawal request and "nutty" review (which isn't in fact included) side by side just to show everyone what he has to deal with. What's the big deal? If the guy had a change of heart and took the time to write, it only shows his interest in the site. It's different if he's harrassing Hooboy, but one review and a withdrawal request isn't harrassment; why not just ignore it?

I don't know about others, but I haven't payed Hoo a penny so far and he never made a fuss about it. (Are you mad at me Hoo?) Some members of this Board are contributing some of their money, but I can't see what's wrong with that. It only helps you (and me) enjoy this site for free. Try to be greatful when someone helps you, it will come naturally after a few times.

 

Hoo, thanks again for letting us play in your backyard.

Please forgive me for my misplaced reply. I was sure I clicked on another thread and wanted to reply to a statement about Hoo doing everything he can to separate us from our cash. Again, I apologize for my mistake.

In my 21 months of posting here, I have seen Hoo get cranky about a half-dozen times. I, on the other hand, have gotten cranky 21 times!

So, we are not all on XTC, and occasionally we post before we think.

I have noticed that Hoo has retracted a couple of his cranky posts, and publicly backed off on one. So, he probably isn't as cranky as we are, fighting to keep this message board sweet!

Sometimes the email he gets just calls out for a sarcastic response!
