I was in Portland around Stark Street near Three Sisters, Boxx's, and Silverado about three weeks ago. There was a street urchin who was definitely trying to get my attention as I drove by. He even walked over to Washington Street to make sure I noticed him. Unfortunately I did not pick him up so I can offer no more information. But check around Paranoia Park (O'Bryant). So apparently the area still has at least the occassional hustler left. But I have to admit it is hit and miss. There was no one there on my previous trip to Portland. The good old days of Second (or was it Third) and Yamhill are long over but sorely missed.
