Discrimination In The Gay Community........Are You Predjudice??

The word "discriminate" has different meanings in my dictionary. One meaning is to differentiate or make a distinction. Another is to make a difference in treatment or favor on a basis other than individual merit. We all discriminate on the basis of the first definition. I discriminate between Sauvignon Blanc and Gerwuertztraminer in that I prefer the former. I also prefer body builders to flabby guys. That doesn't mean I pre-judge flabby guys. It's just that I don't necessarily want to see them go-go dance. As the saying goes: degustibus non est disputandum. In other words, taste is not a subject for argument.

Wow, maybe TT really is becoming my mentor.

Because this time I have to agree with him.

 

If you met a black person that you clicked with and were attracted to, but wouldn't take it beyond that because he was black, that would be racism.

But if you weren't sexually attracted to him from the start, that would be sexual preference. Not racism.

 

Porn stars/strippers/nude models are fantasy figures-- we don't actually know them, so we project a personality onto them. In real life, personality is usually a major factor in whether you find someone attractive or not.

 

 

And given the array of looks a "black' man can have- and skin colors from ebony to cafe au lait, can we categorically state that whites automatically find all blacks unattractive - or just some types of blacks?
