Need a little help/advice...

I've scheduled my first 'erotic/sensual' massage for this weekend. Found the guy on massuer.net - seems to be pretty nice looking.

My question is what should I expect from the encounter?

I would like a real massage, ending with a handjob. Is it expected that I tell him what I want or is it just understood? Should I expect the massage therapist to be naked?

How does this work??

I'm sure that this varies with the masseur, but in my experience "erotic massage" has always meant AT LEAST that the masseur was naked and either jerked me off at the end or allowed me to touch his body while jerking myself off.

I did recently have an unfortunate experience, however, with someone I was going to hire for an "erotic massage". He was very vague on the phone, but kept whispering/moaning that he'd like "to have a good time" with me and said we could "really have some hot fun together". He suggested that we meet at my apartment rather than his massage studio because he didn't feel comfortable "going beyond the limits of a massage" in his regular place of business. He quoted me a rather high rate for an erotic massage ($120), but he looked very cute and I (stupidly) read into his vague comments and tone of voice that the massage would be more than a decent rubdown with a simple hand job at the end. Imagine my surprise when he showed up and initially gave a speech about his limits: for $120 he would give me a massage and I could jerk myself off (but not touch him), and if I wanted to touch him that he would of course expect a "generous" tip (though I definitely would not be allowed to touch his genitals). He also indicated that there would definitely be no oral or anal contact allowed. He then gave me the option of giving him $20 to call off the appointment. I ended up feeling had, but I know it was my fault for not asking more questions in advance. I certainly wouldn't pay $120 for a massage and then being allowed to jerk off while looking at someone; the "going rate" for that is more like $60-$80, and usually those guys at least let you touch their upper body. This guy was basically looking for an escort rate for just allowing someone to touch him. I guess there are some guys who are into this, but I'd rather pay either $80 for a massage and quick release or $150 or so for an escort who will be more interactive.

My advice is that you ask this guy in advance what an "erotic massage" is for him, so you know what to expect and so you can cancel the appointment in advance if it isn't what you are looking for.

It seems to me that it "works" when one spells out a contract so that both the masseur & you have an explicit idea of what is going to "work" or not. Don't be tempted by a hot telephone voice whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Spell it out whether it's exotic or erotic & what does that mean to the masseur? If you want a completely nude masseur, then request it & get agreement. If you want a hand job at the end...tell the masseur. Negotiate the price. Use your own judgement re: tip since there are various opinions here on this board.

I recently had a magnificent massage & I THOUGHT that I had hammered out the details. But there were a few ambiguities which I allowed to happen & it turned out to be non-sexual which was never stated as such. I was not happy nor the masseur because I was not happy.

Good luck!

Here in Houston, a high quality , but thoroughly legitimate, no masseur nudity and no touching massage is a dollar a minute, generally apeaking, or thereabouts. With all of the discussion on these boards about rising escort prices, it really surprises me to hear that erotic massages in San Francisco can be had at such a low fee. How recent is your research?
