A friend of mine always stays at http://www.amsterdam.co.za/ This will be a short distance from the warf area but by cab it is fine and not too expensive a cab ride. The last time I was there I stayed at The Table Bay Hotel:

http://www.lhw.com/property.aspx?propertyid=192&ext=H192 This is a great location on the warf. Tons of shopping and places to eat and drink. You can walk to the gay area from here but at night you should be careful. Take a cab, its not that expensive.

 

Café Manhattan is the place to start your evening. They have a nice relaxing bar with a good happy hour. Also the best hamburger ever!!!

 

Went to one sauna near Manhattan. Down the hill a half a block and over one and a half blocks. Can't remember the name, sorry. Had a great time.

The sauna is called Hothouse, and is on European standards. Check-out the sundeck on a afternoon, view can't be beat!

There should be 2 massage houses, Knights and Barracks, both in the Seapoint area.

Never stayed at Amsterdam House, but the reports are that there is a sling in the basement, much activity within the house amongst guests??? (Owner is drug-addled?)

It has been awhile since I've been to CPT, someone may have more current info...
