I'll be in Las Vegas for three days in mid-January, first time in many years. I'd welcome hotel recommendations, best show recommendations, don't-miss escort recommendations, from clients OR escorts who know LV. I'd welcome messages from escorts, or referrals to escorts from clients. MANY THANKS! :-)

There was a good thread a couple weeks ago called "Las Vegas Hotels." It has a lot of good info in it. Just look back a few pages or do a search on Las Vegas.

You can't go wrong with either Cirque du Soliel show or the Blue Man Show at the Luxor. Be sure to get tickets to Cirque well in advance. You'll kick yourself in the ass if you have a bad seat.

Good luck.

As phage says, this topic has been discussed recently.

To be honest, too many people pay for great hotel rooms in Vegas only to find that the rooms themselves (while comfortable) offer little more than a bed and a shower. Last time I stayed at Treasure Island, it didn't even have cable TV. The whole city is geared to getting you OUT of your hotel room and into the casinos or other entertainment venues (spa, pool, whatever).

Find the best cost/location ratio and work with it.

And I'll second *any* recommendation for Blue Men Group. One word of advice: either be totally sober or totally ripped when you see them. Otherwise, you'll wonder which you are. :-)

Do book in advance for Cirque. Well worth it.

If you're thinking an escape from the shows and gambling for half a day, I would recommend you (or to bring your favourite escort along) to take one of those Cessna flights to fly over the Grand Canyon. The view was truly fantastic and breathtaking and remained to be one of my fondest memories of my trips to Las Vegas. :)

Deej, you should know better. There were pirate boats out in front of the hotel and you were surprised that they robbed you! }>

I stayed at the Treasure Island once several years ago. The only "convenience" that it had was the shuttle train to the Mirage to watch Siegfried & Roy! :p But luckily enough, there was cable in my room at the time.

I've only been there once and I stayed at Harrah's which was a pretty nice hotel. Nothing too fancy but, pretty much dead center of the strip so everything is fairly close and a good deal for the price. I went to see Wayne Newton who put on a fantastic show if you like the old time "Frank Sinatra" type of show. If you want good information on hotels there, go to http://www.cheapovegas.com A lot of good, useful information on what your actually getting for your money and where to get the best deals.

For hotels, my suggestions would be to stay at the Luxor or Mandalay Bay depending on your preferance. I like the Mandalay bay because the hotel itself offers enough night life to keep you happy at least for your first night here. Then you'll be located on the strip for easy access to all, yet you wont be in the middle of it all if you care to escape..

I think the grand canyon idea is truely an experience that will leave you feeling good about vegas even if you loose all your money gambling..;-)~

As for other issues of fun in this town well I really can't say what is suited for you.

If all else fails you can just fly out, stay at Stephan and Stefano's Bed and Breakfast and let the fun just fall into your lap! ;-)~

Cheers!

Mike ;-)~

I highly recommend the Luxor (Tower rooms) and a great buffet, but most of the hotels on the strip offer VERY nice rooms for the money. I've stayed at:

MGM (nice but too big and wandering)

Caesars Tower rooms

Monte Carlo (room decor is somewhat plain)

Aladdin (the parking garage is a long way from the rooms)

If you are renting a car and want to drive out of the city the Hoover Dam and Red Rock State Park are both within easy driving distance.

Las Vegas seems to have some talented escorts but the best are too hairless and twinky for my tastes. A frustrating aspect of my visits there. Tony Dancer is an exception but he wouldn't committ himself to bottom for me. :-(

if you line things up in advance, rock climbing in red rock park is a great day trip; have done it twice with escorts and it is a wonderful change from the strip. the beginner climbs are easy and fun; i am not athletic and i am middle age and with the proper guide it was no problem.

I just came back from Vegas 2 days ago,my first time there again in about 13 years. I stayed at NewYork/NewYork but I'd say any of the big strip hotels would be a great experience. Went to see "Storm" at the Mandalay Bay, an excellent high-energy show with a latin beat (ala Gloria Estafan). I've been told crowds are returning but the audience at the show (a Sunday night) barely filled half of the auditorium. I don't think it is very much of a problem to get tickets anywhere. I noticed that although I had to wait in line about 15 minutes for a table one night at NY/NY about half of the restaurant seating area was not being used.

Hotels:

Luxor...romantic, unique, comfortable decor in the tower rooms. The marble bathrooms with separate shower/tubs are a lot of fun with your favorite escort. Great rates!

Mandalay Bay...great views of the strip. Huge rooms and separate shower/tubs, again great for that special escort in your life. Impressive, overall property. High end, unique restaurants.

Rio...WOW! large, beautiful, comfortable suites at very reasonable rates. Reasonably priced restaurants, exciting place. Ask for a strip view in the new tower.

Shows:

Cirgue de Solieu(sp?)...the one at Treasure Island is outstanding (haven't seen the other one, but heard it's great, too)

Blue Man Group...Another great show. Lot's of fun.

PLaces to see:

Hoover Dam...take the hard hat tour (unless you're clostraphobic). With the terrorist thing going on they may not be offering the tour.

Valley of Fire...short distance from Vegas. Beautiful! Impressive rock formations and inspiring vistas.

Oops...sorry I forgot to mention my favorite Vegas escort, Zack Scott. Everyone has his own taste, and Zack, with his smooth, muscular, swimmer's build sure satisfies my taste. Very friendly, and works at pleasing you 24-7.

wow,

Glad to see others liked the Luxor. I made a point of staying there during a recent convention that was held at Paris. Glad I did, was good value for the money, and great bathrooms.

Loved the camp value of it as well.

Glad to know Luxor got some local endorsements as well... ;)
